In September 2015, Sweet Tooth Café opened up along Gloucester’s historic Main Street in the Gloucester Village, expanding what was once the Sweet Tooth Parlor Cupcakery into a full bakery and café. If you love a peaceful and cozy environment, this is the place to go! This small town, Christian business has the sweetest most loving staff who make you feel like family. I couldn’t think of a better place to spend my time or money. I can now say I’ve had their breakfast and their lunches, drinks and sweets and never once have I had any complaints. Not only is this in walking distance of several boutiques but I can walk here from work on my break and still get back on time with my to go order. Not to mention they do catering! 10/10 recommend! You don’t want to miss out on this place!

I stopped for coffee, and I’m grateful I did. The sweets they make are stunning. The fresh zucchini bread was very tempting. This quaint little place is one of those wonderful finds, from the wait staff, to the food offerings, to the other customers. The atmosphere and decor capture the area, perfectly. The woman at the front counter seemed bothered that we were just getting coffee, or maybe we just caught her on an off day. But I am certainly looking forward to going back and trying their lunch specials and desserts.

Pleasant little café with great desserts, but lacking in customer service.
Stopped in while visiting family for the afternoon and decided to treat myself to dessert and coffee. The display case was full of tempting options — everything looked fantastic.
We ordered a chocolate silk pie, a chocolate éclair, a pumpkin chocolate chip brownie, an iced latte, and a hot latte. The desserts were delicious, especially the éclair — perfectly balanced with a light pastry shell, rich chocolate topping, and creamy filling. That said, the $31.75 total felt a bit steep for what we got.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the desserts. The older woman at the counter had little personality and didn’t acknowledge our tip or thank us for the purchase. The younger woman helping with the desserts, however, was kind and pleasant — a bright spot in the experience.
Overall, this café has great desserts worth trying, but customer service needs improvement. I’d happily return if the friendlier staff member is working.

The desserts they gave available a good. A friend enjoyed the latte they offer, I tried the affogato and was disappointed. The shot of espresso was bitter. We are a family that loves shits if espresso and they are usually a strong smooth flavor.
Out waitress was not very friendly, bordering on rude. I would suggest to go.

I was driving down the street and saw the word “Sweet” in The sweet tooth cafe’s name. I had to stop in. I went in expecting to buy a baked good and stayed for lunch. I had the Mac Daddy sandwich! My inner fatty was in love. Mac n cheese, bbq brisket onion straws and Gouda pimento cheese on a pretzel bun . (I put pimento on the side) DELICIOUS!!!! Could only eat half it was so big. I went home with key lime pie. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s been a while since I have been here. The food was amazing, love the soft music, the waitress checked on me a lot. I had the ultimate grill cheese which came with soup and salad. We have really lucked into a wonderful location in Gloucester to meet with family and enjoy great coffee and food!
We chose this location randomly almost 18 months ago and have enjoyed returning time and time again. My sibling and I just enjoyed lunch there and we are both watching our intake. We have enjoyed watching all the little changes that have happened over the last almost 18 months. The menus have blossomed but the quality has remained superb! Sweet Tooth offers healthy meal options and unflavored coffees for those of us trying to make better choices for ourselves. Sadly, it does mean foregoing their delicious sweet options but we have enjoyed those in the past.
We all highly recommend this cafe for all the reasons: great food, delicious coffee, beautiful setting and delightful people!
