Today, I held my Daughter’s Baby Shower at Sweet Temptations Pastry Shop on Maryland Heights in Weirton, WVa.
Vanessa Roberts Beaver and her helpers did such a phenomenal job with the setup, so much.. that I barely used half of the decorations that I brought with me.
The space held my guests perfectly and a wonderful time was had.
The service from the time I arrived, until the time I left was impeccable!!
She worked with me choosing a menu that suited my event and it was very affordable.
I added a couple items that I brought and her staff took care of adding it effortlessly.
They all made it so easy for me to enjoy time with my family, although I was the host of the event.
My guests RAVED about her Sweet Treats and sandwiches .. I will agree.. they are delicious!!
I didn’t know that she held events in her shop and the word needs to be shared.
I would not only recommend having your event with her, but would definitely have more with her.

I absolutely adore sweet temptations!
The shop is so warm and inviting, the food is do die for. Her talent as a baker is just amazing her sweet treats are so beautifully made , most of the time I just want to admire instead of eating. With all of that , the biggest part of this shop is the ladies ! Very professional they are all so wonderful and make you feel like family.

Where to begin? An understanding of balance of ingredients is essential, and my goodness, the confection maestro here understands that so well. From the sweeter items on the menu and in the case to the more savoury, every item here touches the palate beautifully, and you can really feel the care put into every dish. I live 4 hours away (round trip) and I will be happily coming back again for more.

Holy heck! I can’t describe how delicious her cake was. She baked a chocolate raspberry and a vanilla caramel multilayer cake for a birthday party I attended. Everyone raved about how flavorful they were.
Her baked goods, especially her chocolate hazelnut croissants, are also equally delicious.
If you ever want to pamper your taste buds, head up to her shop in Marlin Heights on the weekend.

Wonderful food in a charming little shop! Definitely worth a little bit of a wait for a meal of this quality. Everything is homemade, including the bread. The tomato bisque soup was outstanding. We got sundried tomato/pesto and artichoke/spinach grilled cheese sandwiches so that we could split them and try both. Wow! Impossible to pick a favorite. So delicious! Can’t wait to try some of the other soups and sandwiches. Took a large cupcake home to my MIL and she was licking the paper to get every crumb. Delightful!

The ladies at Sweet temptations offered a buy 1 get 1 free special today until 3:00 p.m. My wife and I partook of this and we were very happy with the outcome. We ordered 2 brownies with some beautiful icing, and some bacon cinnamon rolls, which were huge! Both items were absolutely delicious. The service and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend Sweet Temptations for a fantastic dessert spot! You will not be disappointed 🙂

I have had just about everything from here and it is all delicious. However, we just had a plain vanilla cheesecake for my husband’s birthday and I am not even kidding when I say I literally had to stop halfway through and praise the Lord! It felt wrong not to immediately give thanks. It was amazing! My girl Vanessa is the absolute best!
