My husband and I decided to visit this restaurant on a recent visit to GA due to our hotel offering a 10% off coupon. We arrived at around 2:30pm and were greeted and seated immediately. Overall, we were shocked by the low prices and great taste of the food! We enjoyed most of the food items we ordered (highlights were the free bread rolls/cornbread, fried chicken chunks, grilled shrimp skewers, and cheese grits). We enjoyed the food so much that we decided to return for another meal on our last vacation day. Ada was extremely friendly and attentive to all of our needs!!

Great for what it claims to be. Southern dishes are delicious and the portions are very generous. We had lunch here. The dishes we had were fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans, pork chops with succotash and peach pie and salad with chicken salad. Service was great and Port Wentworth friendly. Restaurant is set back from the road and parking is scattered.

Stopped in on the way to FL based on a recommendation from a friend. 10/10 would recommend anyone who is passing anywhere near Port Wentworth stopping to check it out. Great service by the staff and the food was amazing!! We had the homemade pimento cheese dip and it was some of the best I have had. Our entrees were so good as well. This is will be a regular stop on our trips

Fast and friendly, good food. Location and parking aren’t that great, but it’s worth it when you find it. 4 stars because not all of our food came out together, and a couple items were forgotten but brought later. They were respectable of a food allergy and safely accommodated (wheat and gluten). Good salads and Shrimp n Grits!

This place is fantastic! The food is excellent and the service so good it prompted me to write my first google review ever. We were on an extended road trip and thought it would be fun to take a lunch break and get some real southern food. We had the waitress recommended Sweet Tea burger (pimento cheese, hot pepper jelly an bacon) and fried green tomatoes. Delish.
We wanted to sit outside and the hostess offered to put an umbrella in the stand and opened it. All around they were cheerful and accommodating. When we got boxes for our leftovers she asked if we wanted ice water in to-go cups. We’ll be back on our next trip north!

This place is a HIDDEN GEM!!! I’ve lived in this area for 3yrs and today finally decided to try it out. When I tell you, the food is AMAZING!!! Staff is very welcoming and eager to answer any questions you may have. DEFINITELY will be going back!!!

Wow! So gooooooood. The other photos of the pork and grits plate don’t do it justice, the portion is way bigger than it looks in the menu! Had to take more than half of mine to go. Friendly & fast service too! A senior came in and sat in the booth beside mine and multiple staff came over and had conversations with him, warms my heart to see staff be so genuine and kind. This place is awesome.
