Great location in the centre of Cologne, the place is very busy so make sure you give yourself time to wait. For a table and eat.
The food was very good as were the staff and I would recommend coming here if you’re into fresh produce and a variety of dishes
We had a duck ramen and a bunch of sushi and sushi rolls

Sadly had to remove my old good review from 2 years ago and write a new one. This used to be such a good place, the food used to be amazing and it was very disappointing to see that the quality went down. The food is nothing like before. The service was bad. We ordered 1 side dish which we did not get until we reminded the waitress. We had ordered one desert and after ages of waiting we had to remind them again that we ordered it. The service became worse too.

I was looking for a healthy meal (didn’t fancy sausages) and chose this place based on other reviews. And what a great choice it was! The staff were accommodating and brought me a menu in English. I ordered one of their sushi platters which included a small bowl of miso soup with a couple of starters. While waiting, and sipping on my warm sake, I could watch the chefs in front of me making the sushis from fresh fish, in their calm and sophisticated manners.
All the elements of my food were delicious and I ended up eating a bit too much! I can say this was the best sushi I ever had (competing against London and LA). This restaurant also has the right atmosphere if you are eating by yourself (you won’t feel awkward).

This place opens on Monday & they do serve Unagi don but with kimchi, korean version of Unagi don. Food Presentation was awesome, lady waitress was friendly & smiley but the lady at the cashier was rather unfriendly, not smiley at all. And they don’t accept credit card. Only cash payment.

We stayed in Köln for one night and wanted to have some sushi and rolls for dinner. Sweet Sushi was near to our hotel and had decent reviews in google and other apps. So I called and „luckily“ there was a table for us.. The restaurant was very narrow, small and packed with tiny tables and people. All tables for 2 are arranged so that the two must seat next to each other.
We ordered a bottled bear(no draft available), a miso soup, one crunchy roll, one sushi+roll combo, and one hand maki roll (as you can see from the photos). Drink and soup came out first, and much later came the main dishes (because they all had to come together in one big plate). And as we were about to eat, we realized that our server had took away the miso soup, which we barely ate from… really????
I still would not have minded if the sushi tasted okay. But sushi rice had too much vinegar, excessive rice for each nigiri sushi, unevenly cutter rolls, and too sticky rice(more like porridge) that crunchy roll didn‘t feel crunchy at all.. couldn’t find any texture as we were eating. And absolutely no need to dip into soy sauce, as they were already too sour and salty.
I have never written a review on google before and yet I felt a strong obligation to write one this time, because as far as we can remember this was the worst sushi we have ever had. The best thing we had here was the bottled beer.
