I recently placed a birthday cake order and I cannot thank this place enough for the amazing work that they did, especially the baker. The staff were all so patient, I had change details about the order probably 5x and they were so accommodating, never once did they sound annoyed…they just want to make sure they’re getting your order correct. I spoke with the baker briefly, she said she just started and what an addition to the team she is! Everyone was “wow-ed” by her work, and she was so humble and brought our vision to life (im not sure how to share photos but i would love to share it with everyone). Thank you so much for your team of hardworkers, I cannot wait to try other pastries that your bakery has to offer and I will definitely return for future cake orders!

Let me start. A coworker brought this crumb cake into work and it was the best crumb cake i ever had in my life. HOWEVER, I called inquiring about it, and was greeted by someone who had said, “I don’t understand you, we don’t have plain crumb cake, we only have raspberry crumb cake.” I had said no I’ve had it before etc.. she just said that she didn’t understand me and that I made no sense and was quite rude. I don’t know how much more i could have explained. I went to the store to order the plain crumb cake and see for myself. It was sold out. THAT’S FINE, it exists but don’t tell me that I don’t make any sense just because you don’t have it at the moment???? Anyways they said I can buy them in pieces and that they are the same so I bought 4 pieces. I asked if it was fresh, she was hesitant but replied yes. I brought it home to my family, It was so dry and stale, i was so disappointed and EMBARRASSED! My whole interaction was DISAPPOINTING. My coworker has a friend in the bakery so maybe she got a fresh batch but I can’t even fathom the difference. It was night and day. WOULD I come back? I want to say yes because when my coworker brings them in , it’s the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life, but if I get them, can i expect the same???

Sweet Surrender Bake House is a really good local bakery. They have great staff who guide you through all the tasty treats they offer. I would recommend their pastries and the Pastel de Natas are an absolute must try. The breakfast sandwiches and toasts are the perfect way to start your day. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout. We left happy and full of goodies. If you are looking for a cozy spot to enjoy good food and coffee with friends this is the place. Worth every visit!”

This is a real good bakery. They have great staff who can guide you to the variety of tasty goodies they carry. I would recommend their Danishes and ample sized donuts. You get real good portion of jelly in their donuts. The staff was courteous and very helpful with us. We went home full of goodies.

Always busy and for good reason. They have a wide assortment of cakes, cookies, and other pastries. The space is a bit tight but they fit a lot in here. We picked up a great birthday cake for a party. Delicious and good value in price. Highly recommend this bakery!

Not the same quality or freshness. Ordered sweets to bring for a breakfast. There scones were oddly rubbery and lacked any flavor or fruit, cream puffs had very little filling and stale. The apple turnover definitely over baked l. Not sure if we got day old leftovers. Only thing that seemed fresh was the donuts. Definitely will be using a different bakery going forward it was embarrassing to say the least.

The tres leches cake was absolutely delicious! The cake was moist and sweet (but not too sweet as some tres leches can be). Nice variety of fruit on top. I highly recommend!!! Manager/owner was pleasant and made sure I was satisfied. Will definitely be ordering this cake again.
