I ordered the Oxtail plate, with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. Not overly salty, flavorful and Oxtails had enough meat on them.
Initially, the food was good but subsequently went downhill. When the food started matching the service, it’s time to stop patronizing. The patties were consistently good. Sometimes the meal has plantains, sometimes not; fish is sometimes red snapper, sometimes not and is instead a barely edible, overcooked aberration that rivals chewing gum; fried chicken meal has sauce, sometimes not. Request for sauce or condiments are completely ignored( I would pay for them if necessary)and if the order is made incorrectly ( their mistake), they expect you to pay for it ( small vs large order). The last time we were there, the food was not good. We have had better service buying tacos at the food truck outside the home depot.
Love the music and vibe here.
With a patio available you can choose to dine inside or out.
Their oxtail is worth a try.
I love their Jerk chicken which is extremely spicy *photo not shown* however really tasty.
Upon my visit here me and my wife brought a friend that lives down the street to join us.
He wanted to get their goat curry, which prompted me to get the same. I saw that they had fried chicken on the menu, however decided to get the goat curry after asking the server what would be the better option.
She told me that the goat curry was their most popular choice.
It was amazingly delicious and I highly recommend ordering that dish if you love curry and goat meat.
My wife ordered their Oxtail combination with rice, beans, cabbage, and a fried plantain. Most of their combination plates/meals come with the steamed cabbage medley with a side of rice & beans.
She also ordered a rum & fruit punch drink and I got their mango juice drink.
Place is clean, organized, friendly and accommodating service.
The atmosphere is chill and enjoyed our visit here. They have a stage and outside bar area adjecent to the patio section and it seems like they have live Reggae bands. Would love to visit again when there is live performances.
They are well worth 10 s. I will gladly give them a 5 !
