Not very familiar with Jamaican food, so I went with the curry goat. Portion was large, and it was quite tasty. Bones weren’t an issue, the meat slipped right off. Excited to try some of the other things on their menu!

Premade slop, expected an ounce of effort, open sign not on, lights in Kitchen off, cashier surprised when I asked if open. After I ordered I felt unwelcome like I was a big white hassle to dish out some goat curry. Have had other Jamaican that was better at every other place.

Usually the go to Jamaican spot when visiting SD, their food is pretty good, portion sizes are enough, and food tastes fresh. The atmosphere isn’t too bad, as they do have limited dining seating and very limited parking space, which is a struggle trying to find parking nearby, when there aren’t any parking spaces on their parking lot. Service timing is fair. For some reason, it seems as though they run out of beef patties quickly. We sat outside of the restaurant on their patio.

I ordered the Oxtail plate, with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. Not overly salty, flavorful and Oxtails had enough meat on them.

Food is delicious!! It can take a while for some of the menu items, but it’s definitely worth the wait. We had the brown stewed chicken which was just so tender and flavorful. The fried chicken was great a well. The beef patties are flaky and lightly spicy. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. Definitely give this place a try. I guarantee you’ll be back.

Outstanding food. This place is laid back with a calming atmosphere. We enjoyed the curry goat and oxtails plates which was way more than expected. Each plate was enough for 2 to done

I decided to give this place a try, again, because we heard of the change in ownership. Sadly, different owner, same lack of basic customer service. Staff seem to be burdened to acknowledge customers upon entering (the exception is the young man with a speech impediment who is the only pleasant person there). The lady there ignored some customers in favor of others and was extremely abrupt with her responses and unhelpful. I thought that I must have offended her until I asked 2 different people to retrieve my order and they reported similar experiences.
Initially, the food was good but subsequently went downhill. When the food started matching the service, it’s time to stop patronizing. The patties were consistently good. Sometimes the meal has plantains, sometimes not; fish is sometimes red snapper, sometimes not and is instead a barely edible, overcooked aberration that rivals chewing gum; fried chicken meal has sauce, sometimes not. Request for sauce or condiments are completely ignored( I would pay for them if necessary)and if the order is made incorrectly ( their mistake), they expect you to pay for it ( small vs large order). The last time we were there, the food was not good. We have had better service buying tacos at the food truck outside the home depot.

Nice restaurant. Went there with 2 of my co workers I had the curry goat with rice &beans and plantain, they both got chicken curry and beef oxtail respectively. My goat has waaaaaay too many bones in it but it’s goat (maybe) but I loved the crunchy cabbage. Nice music I love Bob Marley he was playing slowly in the background.

As a Jamaican it’s always risky finding a good Jamaican food spot but this was great. I enjoyed my food and the sorrel. Actually I’d come back for the sorrel every day if I would. Lol but I got the oxtail with rice and peas. I finished my plate before leaving so that says something because I never finish food.

One of the best Jamaican Food experiences I’ve had.
I love their Jerk chicken which is extremely spicy *photo not shown* however really tasty.
Upon my visit here me and my wife brought a friend that lives down the street to join us.

He wanted to get their goat curry, which prompted me to get the same. I saw that they had fried chicken on the menu, however decided to get the goat curry after asking the server what would be the better option.

She told me that the goat curry was their most popular choice.
It was amazingly delicious and I highly recommend ordering that dish if you love curry and goat meat.

My wife ordered their Oxtail combination with rice, beans, cabbage, and a fried plantain. Most of their combination plates/meals come with the steamed cabbage medley with a side of rice & beans.
She also ordered a rum & fruit punch drink and I got their mango juice drink.

Place is clean, organized, friendly and accommodating service.
The atmosphere is chill and enjoyed our visit here. They have a stage and outside bar area adjecent to the patio section and it seems like they have live Reggae bands. Would love to visit again when there is live performances.
They are well worth 10 s. I will gladly give them a 5 !
