AWESOME store, way more than I expected and so fun! Eli (pictured) was super cool and helpful. Lots of candy, ice cream, fun treats and items. Totally recommend coming by the sweet spot if you are in town!

All around great experience here! So many ice cream flavors, and many other treats. The kids love choosing the loose “candy by the pound”. They also have an abundance of fun toys, gifts and souvenirs. Great customer service as well!

Ice cream was all delicious and didn’t taste old. Upon coming in, there’s a trash and a table with the menu as they want you to know what you want and not hold up the line. The souvenir mug for the milkshakes aren’t all worth it since it just has a sticker on one side.
They were nice to costume make a milkshake that wasn’t on menu since the flavors on the menu were not appealing to me.

Great Ice Cream – Taffy – Candy. They carry over 50 flavors of Hershey’s ice cream. I got 2 healthy scoops of Salted Caramel Truffle for $6.99 >>> the ice cream was creamy and tasty. They have 4 small tables inside if it’s too hot to enjoy your ice cream outside. Outside there at least 10 large chairs. The staff is friendly and efficient.

We snuck out after dinner to The Sweet Spot in Emerald Isle and it turned into the perfect way to wrap up our trip. With about 50 flavors to choose from, it felt like ice cream heaven. Every scoop we tried was delicious. The shop has a fun, welcoming vibe and Alex gave us incredible service that made the visit even better. Highly recommend stopping in for a sweet treat and a smile.

Don’t be discouraged by the amount of people in the front or the long lines. The rocking chairs are pretty comfortable and you don’t even notice you’re in line because it moves so fast. They have a ton of flavors which is great and they have seating options outside and inside. Definitely check this place out.

My wife and I took the kids mini-golfing and were looking for a “Sweet Spot” afterwards to relax for a minute and beat the heat. This place was perfect. Ice cream flavors galore, cold drinks, and fun collectibles under an air conditioned roof. It’s just what we needed in the moment.

Sweet Spot is a popular ice cream parlor / candy shop / gift shop located in Emerald Isle. It gets very popular in the evening however, the line moves quickly. It’s located in a gift shop and the line will wrap around the shop. Inside you’ll find seating and the ice cream counter which is located in the back. They have a wide variety of flavors and offer free tastes. I ordered the chocolate peanut butter and it was very good. It had massive chunks of peanut butter with every bite. Their servings are good-sized. They have ample seating inside the store. Outside of the store, they have rocking chairs along the sidewalk where you can sit andn enjoy your ice cream. Prices are reasonable for a tourist town. For a regular cup and kids cup the total was around $12.

Great family ice cream place. Must visit (multiple times) when you come to Emerald Isle. Besides the many, many hand dipped ice cream flavors, they have a very large assortment of taffy sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
