Sweet Soy is an Asian Fusion restaurant that opened March 2024 at Copper Mountain Resort’s Center Village. We have dine in seating with a full bar and some local beer on tap along with happy hour specials both for apres (3-5pm) and late night (9pm-close). Katie and Jay are absolutely crushing it at Sweet Soy. You can feel the care the moment you sit down — warm welcome, great energy, and food that hits harder than a powder day.
We had the katsu ramen and the katsu rice bowl, and both were unreal. Crispy, perfectly seasoned chicken, deep broth with real depth, fresh toppings, and portions that make you feel like you got way more than what you paid for. Every bowl looks like something they’d proudly serve at their own table — you can taste the passion.
Service was fast, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Katie checks on everyone like she’s hosting in her own home, and Jay is back in the kitchen making absolute magic. This is the kind of spot that makes Copper feel like a small community — people who care about what they do and the people they feed.
If you’re in Copper Mountain and want something that warms you up, fills you up, and makes you want to come back the next day, Sweet Soy is it.

Sweet Soy is the definition of a hidden gem! Friendly service, fun and flavorful food, and a beautiful environment to enjoy it in. We couldn’t believe how pleasant the view overlooking the pond and the mountains was, made even more enjoyable by watching a bike competition for young kids going on nearby. We were so glad we decided to eat here instead of Vail or Breckenridge…which are great to walk around in but not so welcoming and authentic.

Having been to Japan, this place is exactly what you want here in the States. Awesome House Sake, great american interpretation of all kinds of Japanese food and local-like service makes it feel perfect. Love it! Chelsea is the best!

I had a fantastic experience thanks to Shawn and Jay. Shawn, the bartender, was friendly and attentive, making great drink recommendations and making sure my glass was never empty. Jay, the chef and owner, really impressed me with the food — the dynamite shrimp was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tuna poke bowl was fresh and delicious.
There are options for every dietary preference.
Both of them made me feel welcome, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend!

This place has some AMAZINGLY flavorful food. I’ve been at Copper for months and heard great things so I decided to check it out.
Definitely try some of the flavored sake. If you like spicy, the spicy thai chicken is the way to go and it comes with a good assortment of vegetables. I had the applie pie dumplings for dessert which were pretty good on their own but the ice cream it’s paired with balances the fried portion out pretty well

Great atmosphere and food. We had the gyoza, tuna tartar and ramen. All was tasty and sizes were proportionate- not too big not too small. The service was friendly and the ambiance super cozy. The hot sake was spot on and beer on tap was plentiful. Other restaurants should come for a Master Class.

My family and I have been coming to Copper Mountain for decades. After getting a coupon from our condo’s front office, we stumbled upon this new restaurant addition, Sweet Soy. Sweet Soy is located in Center Village, we hoped on the free shuttle from East Village and made out way.
The accommodations are quaint but we were able to pull up a chair to fit. My family totaled a party of 5 people. I will mention there are only a handful of tables and I saw many groups have to either get takeout or wait for a table. After our shrimp appetizer we waited for 30 minutes or more for our entrees. Service was overall good, minus having to ask our waitress for water for a second time once our hot sake arrived. For this reason I gave four stars. Once the food did arrive, it was hot, all came out at the same time, and all my family were satisfied. I would recommend checking this spot out.
*Make note when attempting to use a season pass holder discount, we were declined due to this being privately owned by a small business. On the bright side, our coupon that was offered by our condo was accepted.

I got some awesome food here so good I went back a second time and ordered more. The man that greeted me remembered me from last time and we chit chatted for a sec. Very happy I went there. Yes I ate all of this even 75% of the fries!
