Figured we would stop by here and try it out, the parking space is good. It was very busy and the line went to the road, the wait wasn’t horrible, great menu selection.
The creemees melt fast so be prepared, id suggest changing brands or getting a thicker mix.
I ordered a mix in a dish and they gave me a cone with no dish, normally when a dish is asked for you give no cone unless asked.

With the nice weather lately, I’ve been on a mission to try out new ice cream shops, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Sweet Scoops! This was my first time visiting, and it was such a great experience.
I ordered from their Classic Sundae options and went with a large Strawberry Sundae — and it did not disappoint! The strawberry ice cream was creamy, refreshing, and packed with real strawberry flavor. Topped with whipped cream and that perfect cherry on top, it was the perfect sweet treat to enjoy on a warm day.
Sweet Scoops has a fun, casual vibe. There’s no indoor seating; you order from the window and can grab a spot on one of the nearby benches to relax and enjoy your ice cream. It’s simple, classic, and perfect for soaking up the sunshine while savoring a delicious dessert.
The service was friendly and quick, even with a steady line of customers. You can tell this place is a local favorite.
Sweet Scoops is definitely a spot I’ll be revisiting — great ice cream, great outdoor setup, and a perfect place to enjoy a summer afternoon. Highly recommend!

Fresh soft serve ice cream (Creamies) in vanilla, chocolate, twist, and my recommendation…Vermont Maple! Get it in a cone or cup. You can also do scoops of unique flavors as a cone, cup, sundae, shake, etc..
I went with the Maple Creamie is a waffle con with Maple Crunchies! #NomNomNom
The waffle cone took in the Maple flavor and was delicious!
Definitely recommending a stop at the Little red barn for some Creamies!

Very disappointing. The creemee selection is very limited (3 flavors), the hard ice cream (Gifford is sub part at best), and they are way too expensive. Also charge extra for using a card… For the price, I expected I could eat the entire thing, including the waffle cone. Sadly that is not the case because the cone has glued paper on it, so unless you enjoy eating glue, paper or both – it becomes inedible half way through. Not sure why people go here, even the staff seem miserable being there as they all act unpleasant. Will never go back there.
Its definitely worth traveling father to Village scoop in Colchester or Al’s French fries in South Burlington.

Tried the vermont maple dumpling sundae. The ice cream was good but I did not like the maple sprinkles on it, they were very dry. The staff was very friendly and smiling.

This place is our families’ favorite place for creemies. The portion size is very generous. We have found the staff to be helpful. It is nice to have both outdoor and indoor seating. Highly recommend this place!
