Every Saturday morning, I make it a point to get to the Winter’s Park Farmers Market bright and early because of Sweet and Sassy Smoke House. If you’ve never had the pleasure of tasting one of Lorrie’s Smoke House Specials, you’re missing out on a downright legendary BBQ experience.
Let’s talk about the Sloppy Pig Sandwich. It’s exactly what it sounds like…messy, meaty, and more delicious than you could ever imagine. Piled high with tender pulled pork, dripping with smoky sauce and coleslaw, and served on a soft fresh bun that somehow holds it all together (barely), it’s the kind of sandwich that makes you forget your manners and dive in headfirst. And don’t sleep on the rice and beans, they’re the perfect sidekick.
We had also tried the brisket. Oh, the brisket is so juicy, tender, and smoked perfectly. It practically melts in your mouth. It’s the kind of BBQ that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about meat.
