Friend said Sesame Chicken was good, but he’s had better as it wasn’t crisp on outside. My Panang Curry was good but a Thai restaurant would make it better. The only dining area is outside on metal tables and chairs.
We, and an UberEats driver, had to wait longer than expected to get food, but not by a lot.
Eventhough I paid in cash, no receipt was offered, didn’t need it, but it could be important to some.

First time trying this place based on reviews. I ordered the lunch combination garlic sauce and pot stickers as there’s a $15 minimum for delivery. The food was okay. I would try it again but different items.

I ordered lemon chicken meal. The chicken was soggy and had some green thing on it, the lemon sauce tasted like straight from a can, the egg roll was extremely small finished in 2 bites and it was probably frozen prior. Don’t eat here

I wanted to like this place as it’s in my neighborhood, but I think my time here is done. I’ve given this place several tries and the food is always “meh” …the food is either bland, too salty, always a random crunchy bit in the food or there’s odd vegetables in certain dishes. The kicker for me was not only the long hair in the chicken dish I ordered, but the curly piece of metal from a scrubber (I’m guessing) in the fried rice. The hair is not the first and probably not the last. If you order, inspect your food.

I used to love her, but Sweet Rice has gone down in quality since changing ownership. I recently ordered basil fried rice and instead of basil, they put lettuce. Lettuce! Please do better… I’d like to love Sweet Rice again. The three stats is generous because I’ve been coming for years and hope yall can get it together.
Original 2019, 5 star review under Original owners: Sweet Rice Cafe is a great take out or delivery option. The basil fried rice is delicious, especially with brown rice and extra jalapenos! The staff are hard working, personable, and dedicated to great service. I’ve never had an incorrect order and enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. Food is flavorful and not greasy. Sweet Rice saves my life sometimes, thank you!

The General Tso’s chicken is pretty good, a little overly salty not bad.
