Oh my goodness this is classic southern cooking! My family of 4 all got something different from their Sunday menu, and everything was delicious. We literally sat there the first 10 min passing bites if food around the table going “you gotta try this”.
The children are in love with the fact that desserts count as one of the 3 sides on the meat and three.

Establishment has changed hands more times than i can recall. This owner may stick. Barbecue isnt the best ever, but sauces are fantastic! Meat and three options are nice to have in addition to regular menu options. Occasionally we have experienced cold dishes. Service is good, and prices are semi reasonable.

Food is flavorful and cooked to spectacular favor. The prices are affordable but you would pay much more for this menu in other places. And I doubt others could provide Home cooking like this place does. I had the fried chicken with macaroni and cheese, collards and fried squash. Very delicious!!!!

Old fashioned Southern look and clean. Staff attentive. Food came out hot and fresh. We did the meat and 3 thing. Everyone enjoyed there food that obviously did not come from a box. Someone at our table got the chocolate cake that looked mundane, but you will change your mind after you taste it!

Food was awful. I ordered the barbecue plate. My whole barbecue was covered in fat. I left it not eaten. I finished my okra and mashed potatoes which was descent. Told waiter about it and she told manager about it. Manager didn’t even bother to come talk to me or look at the fatty barbecue. Even the waiter said that wasn’t normal and looking. The slap in the face was I only got $2 taken off my bill. What a waste of my lunch, time and money.

Thought I was back in time at my grandmother’s house. Employees were sweet and friendly. Excellent fried chicken and veggies. And delicious chocolate cake with toasted pecans. My group stayed and talked and did not feel rushed. Background music was soothing. Can’t wait to go back!

I have been here a few times for lunch. The service has been good each time and the food is also good. The selection is pretty good for a meat & 3. I have not had anything that I don’t like so far. The place is clean and easily accessible. There is plenty of parking and tables to handle the lunch rush. It is normally pretty busy but it is still fast in and out if you need it.

Food was very good and seasoned perfectly but our fried green tomatoes were soaked in grease. Our original waitress brought our food out and never came back then a new waitress came by and gave us our check didn’t even ask if we needed anything which sucks because we were wanting desert. The servers need to work on their customer service.
