It’s time to try Sweet P’s Sunday brunch if you haven’t.
I invited to brunch at the fairgrounds about a decade ago and the food wasn’t good and I swore never to go again. This afternoon while looking for a brunch spot Sweet P’s popped up and I thought that maybe I’d try again. A LOT has happened in the last 10 years, time to try again.
Y’all, Sweet P’s is delicious! Everything I tasted was delicious.
Fried fish:
Black eyed peas & pintos: perfectly seasoned & cooked
Dressing: like Grandma’s on Thanksgiving (not my grandma, she has never been able to cook and this stuff delicious). If you’re wondering if it’s better than the other restaurant that starts with a “P” and has similar cuisine, it’s better. FAR BETTER.
Everything is good.
Do you miss the Pizza Hut salad bar? Sadly sigh no longer, SWEET P’S has got you.
And the desserts? Peach cobbler, banana pudding, cakes. Perfection.
Exceptional service. The people are attentive and efficient and personal. First time going and I feel like I’ve known these folks for ages.
Love this place, love these people. Their Mac & cheese is legit and baked. I cannot say EAT HERE enough.

The folks at Sweet P’s are the most kind and welcoming folks around. The food is good ol’ southern food that fills your soul just as much as your stomach. Haven’t had country cooking like that since way back when Po Folks was in Rome. My wife and I will definitely be going back again.
