The first time here we only had time for coffee but it gave us a really good feel to come back again. A couple months later we were excited to make it back for lunch. It was definitely worth the wait. The menu is much more extensive than I imagined and full of delicious options. You will have a hard time choosing. My wife had a chicken pesto panini that was out of this world. I had the pulled pork mac & cheese and it was delicious also. The soups were outstanding as well. We had the tomato basil and chicken tortellini. Make sure you try the sweet potato salad also. Surprisingly good. The service from the entire staff was outstanding and the atmosphere could not be more comfortable and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu.

The food was delicious. Service was good. I love that they gave the choice of fish of whiting or flounder. I had a breakfast item with flounder, cheese topped grits, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit. The biscuit probably had sweet potato in it. I tasted cinnamon spice and it was served with a cinnamon honey butter. Everything was really good, even the tarter sauce. My friends had the chicken and waffle and said their food was really good. We were there on a Sunday and the menu online didn’t match what was listed online. The music was nice. Price was good. Restroom was clean. My only complaint was a kid of a customer had a phone playing a loud video with no headphones.

A VIBE!!! This random day date turned into the best surprise! I had to make a reel about this spot because it was THAT GOOD! We did the shrimp sweet potato & the nacho salad with pita chips.
The service was so good, and the energy in the place gives home cooked vibes. Definitely worth the visit if you’re a sweet potato lover or anywhere near the area.

My favorite farm to table restaurant in Atlanta. Locally owned and operated, the owners are always here greeting people. Very friendly and down to earth place to eat.

Cute place. Great friendly service. Southern food but not greasy. I got chicken pesto sandwich with the sweet potato salad. Really liked both. Nom nom

Great atmosphere, the food and coffee were delicious. The owner and staff were welcoming. Will definitely be back! I ordered the bacon and veggie omelette, and the sweet potato soufflé, both were fantastic.

I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The space is not accommodating for large parties — our seating arrangement had to be changed multiple times, which set the tone for the visit. The food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the only item worth mentioning was the flounder fried fish. Everything else on the plate was bland and lacked flavor. The mimosas were also not enjoyable. While the café itself has a nice atmosphere, the service, drinks, and most of the food did not meet expectations. Sadly, I will not be returning.

It a nice little quaint placed tucked off behind the main street. It feels very cozy and welcoming. The food is actually pretty good. The woman who was serving us was very accommodating regarding the substitutions as far as certain menu items. Overall a great place to eat.

So excited to visit a neighbor restaurant. The decor in this reminds me of my grandma’s hugs: warm, comforting, and thoughtful. The wood surfaces appearing original to the craftsmanship of this antique charmer are all beautifully finished. The diverse atmosphere was like congregating with extended family. Now concerning the food! Fried chicken and waffles is a common southern staple. This place was far from common. The sweet potato waffles were excellent; no syrup required. The chicken was seasoned to perfection with a slight kick of spicy. The whiting too was seasoned well. The flesh was succulent while the skin was oh so crunchy. The collard greens were uniquely flavored but very, very good and the sweet potato biscuits with homemade marmalade were divinely moist and sutlley sweet The serving sizes were ample while the pricing was very reasonable. The classic, instructional music piping through the speakers throughout was the cherry on top. The patrons never ceased coming.
