I wish I could give more stars to Mimi’s Cafe and Bakery. I usually been ask for visiting cafes and restaurants and post my opinion and of course I would love it but this is the first time I write with a real desire for a cafe which was totally different. I strongly suggest you to try Mushroom omelette which is buttery and delicious, serves with ray bread l. I don’t like sweet deserts but the banana bread was so unique and delicious. I don’t keep counting calories in that. Also Dard chocolate and peanut butter kiss cookies are the best and don’t forget to grab some for later. Definitely we will return in our next visit.

I went to Sweet Mimi’s yesterday after hearing some good reviews online. It was small business Saturday so I was prepared to not get seated immediately, even as a party of 1. They told me it could be a 50 minute wait, it was less than that (about 35-40 minutes) because I put my name in around 1 and they close at 2. Going in, there is not a lot of space but they have made the most of it with the placement of their tables. The staff was amazing at keeping the place moving like a well oiled machine, I could see how tired they were and they just kept going and were super sweet. The food, ooh the food was AMAZING! I came in for the exact two items I have pictured, the Autumn Scramble Special and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The autumn hash has such a great mixture of veggies in there with the Brussel sprouts, butternut squash, and onions. The shaved Parmesan cheese, bacon, and balsamic bring it all together. For reference, I got mine with egg whites. The pancakes were so fluffy! The lemon and blueberry pairing is a classic combo and it worked here. While I would have liked just a hint more lemon flavor, the blueberry compote certainly made up for it. No maple syrup needed! And of course as you leave you pass by their lovely baked goods selection. So I went home with a cherry scone and their chocolate chip walnut brownie. Overall I’m glad I waited for the table because this was the perfect meal after a day shopping in toga.

Crazy good food! A beautiful restaurant. Really cozy atmosphere. Despite being slammed and the holiday week, service was excellent. I would have loved to have tried some pastries, but seriously, they give you a healthy serving!

We went to Lake George for a mini family getaway. Sweet Mimi’s was a must on our list before we left. Our last day the weather was amazing and we were hungry. We were also happy that it as dog friendly for the outdoor seats. But there’s only 2 tables outside so very limited.
We wanted a little of everything so we went with their special pancake option the bacon pancake. There was bacon inside and on top. It was amazing with a size of whip cream. My son chose a biscuit sandwich that had sausage, egg and cheese inside. It’s was huge!! It was basically 2 full biscuits as the bun. It was very thick and hard to hold. After a while we just started eating it with a knife and fork. My daughter wanted a simple chocolate chip waffle and it was far from simple. Really chocolaty and crispy. Everything hit the spot. One thing that surprised me was the ice coffee. I’m not a coffee drinker and I had to have another cup after I tried my wife’s. They said it was a blend of different coffee brews put together. Wasn’t a secret they really just throw the different coffees together I guess. Ha ha ha. We left there stuffed before we hit the road and satisfied. Definitely a must try!

Came to try the cinnamon roll. Wow I came on a Monday morning and this place was packed. They have a nice small bakery inside, seems like they sell out of cinnamon rolls real early. I got the 2nd to last roll just before 10am. It was a pretty good cinnamon roll, had the soft, gooey, and full of cinnamon filling that you want. Plus a nice icing on top. Just don’t know if I’d comeback just for a cinnamon roll, was $6 per roll.

This super cute and extremely friendly cafe is a must if you’re in the area. I tried the November special dish- Pumpkin French toast with a side of local sausage and scrambled eggs which was sooo filling and tasty! I loved the French toast- it had the right hint of pumpkin but the sliced apples on top that created such a delicious experience. The side of mascaropone was out of this world! The sausage had a nice spice but not too hot and the bottomless coffee was just what I needed for my drive home. All in all, this isn’t a top rated spot for no reason! Try it! You will be glad you did!

This place was a highlight on our recent trip to Saratoga! We got there around 9:30 in the morning and there was only a 15 minute wait and boy was it worth it. I don’t usually like overly sweet pancakes so I was nervous to try the cinnamon roll ones but it was a perfect balance of flavors and I couldn’t believe how insanely good they were. The omelette was also cooked to perfection. 10/10 – will be back to try the lemon ricotta pancakes!

My wife and I took our two sons out for breakfast at a popular local spot. When we arrived, the place was bustling with customers, and we were told there would be about a 40-minute wait to be seated. Rather than just standing around, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around the area, which made the wait feel much shorter and gave us a chance to explore a bit.
Once we were seated, we looked over the menu and placed our orders. I opted for French toast, while the kids went for a classic combination of bacon and pancakes. My wife decided on a blueberry pancake, which sounded too good to pass up. When our food arrived, it was clear that the wait had been well worth it. Everything was cooked to perfection—the French toast had just the right balance of crispiness and softness, the pancakes were fluffy and rich, and even the coffee was exceptional. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and I knew right away that this was a place we’d want to visit again.
Before heading home, we decided to stop back in and pick up a few pastries for the road. The selection was tempting, and we chose a mix of different treats to enjoy on the drive back. Just like our breakfast, the pastries did not disappoint—they were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to wrap up our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I’d gladly return to this spot in the future.

What a tiny little gem! We went here for breakfast after a 1 hour wait. It was worth it! The breakfast was fantastic and the treats we brought home on the way out, to die for!

This place was very packed and had a wait to it, which enticed me more to check out the place.
Sweet Mimi’s did not disappoint.
I went here for a pit-stop brunch while driving up to Canada. I’m glad my partner and I chose this place to dine.
The staff was super friendly, I was having a bad day at the moment, but the cheerfulness from the waitress made me feel a lot better.
The food was very good, we got the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes and the bistro sandwich.
The pancakes has an amazing hint of lemon and plenty of blueberries that covered the plate. I was hoping to have a dollop of whip cream on the top, but the side of blueberry syrup will do.
The sandwich was a great choice brunch and they made my eggs-over-easy perfectly, I love runny yolks.
The cheddar home fries were very good! We got an order “for one” and it was enough for the both of us, would recommend this dish a 100%.
Although it was very crowded inside, it was cramped and everyone wasn’t talking over each other.
The front counter definitely invites you to order some pastries.
Would visit this place again 🙂
