If only this place was back in my hometown! I was over from Michigan visiting an elderly friend who lives just a mile away from Melissa’s. First off we were greeted with hospitality as soon as we walked in the door by a fellow patron. Our waitress was helping us immediately as soon as we sat. She was very helpful and friendly! We ordered two pizzas and they was amazing! Other fellow patrons came over and thanked my friend for his time he served in Vietnam and offed to buy him a drink. Definitely I will be back when I visit my friend again. In short great food, service and atmosphere!! Thank you!

Found this little local favorite tucked away in wauconda. Pizza was cracker thin with a good amount of toppings. I got an extra bowl of their pizza sauce to dip it in ( a personal preference) . So glad I did. It gave me a chance to really taste the depth of the sauce. Garlicky and slightly sweet.
I recommend getting there early on the weekend, it gets crowded quick.

The spinach artichoke dip was outstanding and came with perfectly warm pita chips. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, making it a perfect starter. Every bite was satisfying and left me wanting more.

My friend and I ended up going here on a whim. The service was fast and friendly, plus I got the BIGGEST calzone I’ve ever seen! Everything was delicious.

What took us so long to try this place out? We have driven passed this place so many times and now the time has come. I must say big flavors come in small packages and this place had it all! Absolutely amazing pizza especially the vodka margarita pizza. The flavors were spot on. We also tried the stuffed meatballs which were just as good. This place is small compared to others but if you’re craving pizza and a place you’ve never been to, don’t wait any longer and head to Sweet Melissa’s you will not be disappointed.

Sweet Melissa’s Pizza and Pub was a great place to stop for a beer and food. Inside was really nice with lots of tv’s. Meatball Sandwich was a monster. I had to cut the meatballs in half just to handle it. Meatballs were just ok. Parmesan Fries, Italian Egg Rolls and the soup were all delicious. The Chicken Tenders were just average. Very friendly and professional staff.

We went to Sweet Melissa’s pizza n pub while our trip to Volo Museum. We ordered the double decker cheese pizza. The pizza was good. It was a thick layered pizza with cheese. There were no oregano and parmesan cheese (condiments) to use only red crushed peppers. The leftover carry out containers were available easily.
The seating is not comfortable at all. The stools were so slippery and uncomfortable. I was worried the whole time. The fountain drinks were awful. No taste all at. First the server put tooooooo much ice like too much. We told her to throw it and get only the coke still coke had no taste. Then we tried the sprite… samething no taste. Just cold water. No flavor no taste. The fountain machine is not accessible by customers. Its only by the staff. Bathrooms were clean. They have place to sit outside too but it was sunny day so we could not sit outside.

Great Italian beef sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Although I’ve never had one with bell peppers. That was a communication error on my part. I thought sweet peppers would mean banana peppers (which I prefer) but the sweet bell peppers were a treat just as well. Not a bad place for a quick lunch. It’s not fast food, it’s food prepared fast, and tasty.

I had a party of five there this morning for breakfast. Everything was great. The bloodies were perfect. The waitress/bartender, Catherine, was extremely nice and attentive. I want to try the breakfast pizza next time.
