Sweet Maple in Santa Monica was such a pleasant experience from the moment we walked in. The area itself already has a nice energy, but the restaurant adds to it with a bright, cheerful ambiance that just makes you feel comfortable right away. The space feels light, welcoming, and lively without being overwhelming.

The food was excellent. Everything looked beautiful when it came out, but it also tasted just as good as it looked. You can tell there is real attention to detail in the presentation and the flavors. The portions were generous and the ingredients tasted fresh. It is the kind of place where you pause for a second before eating because the plate actually looks that good.

The service was also great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Nothing felt rushed, and they made sure everything was right without hovering over the table.

Overall it was a really delightful brunch experience. Great food, great service, and a bright atmosphere that makes you want to sit, relax, and enjoy your meal. If you are in the Santa Monica area and looking for a good brunch spot, Sweet Maple is definitely worth stopping by.

I saw it had a long line the last time I passed by, so I decided to book a seat. The Shin Rayman is so good — Asian-style, and the omelette is so pretty. Great atmosphere here, and I love the brunch vibe.

quick note: they do validate for parking! i parked on the street and and paid already. Walked in to the store and figured they do validate.

Breakfast with an Asian fusion twist! The wait was around 20 mins on a rainy Saturday. We ordered the breakfast shots with bacon, omurice, French toast, and the skillet. Food was out in about 10 minutes which was so fast for being so busy! Absolutely loved everything we ate and highly recommend.

Great place for breakfast or brunch steps away from the beach without the sand in your food. Make sure you make a reservation and only 15min grace period. Gets busy on Sundays.

Try the Savory Pot, the Blueberry French toast and a side of bacon with fresh squeezed orange juice. You can’t miss this combo. Great umami and sweet

This place is incredible. My friends and I went. You have to go if you’re in Santa Monica and the server Kate is so nice. Highly recommend the millionaire bacon whiskey drink, and the croissant waffle with fried chicken!

Good food. Good service. Good ambience. Other patrons were a bit noisy. But not too much. Sandwich was great. Omurice was less so but still edible. Generous portion. Service was friendly and rather quick.

Asian-fusion brunch?! Yes!!!

There’s a long list of dishes that I want to try. This morning, the 3 of us shared several dishes.

My favorite was the BACON sampler and mocha waffle. The eggs Benedict with bacon was okay. So was the egg scrambled. Just okay.

I think I’ll come back and try more of the Asian-fusion items that’s unique to this place. Pricey ($$$) because of the prime location on the corner Ocean & Olympic, just south of the 10 fry and the SM Pier. But a great place to entertain and impress.

We visited this breakfast restaurant on a beautiful Saturday morning. We enjoyed the bottomless mimosa and food, the decor of the restaurant is bright with comfortable seating, There is seating indoors as well as outdoor. The patio area is from the front of the restaurant the side of the restaurant. The food was good. I had the killer Cesar salad and my guess had the BLT sandwich with fries. Nan was our server on this busy Saturday afternoon. There is bar seating area, which we opted for while waiting for the patio seating. Once there was a patio seating available to moved to the patio to enjoy the weather. The guava mimosa is a show stopper. One of the waiter suggested this mimosa and it was a great suggestion for us. Parking is meter street parking or parking at a near by parking lot. I recommend you made reservations for the# restaurant.

A group of 6 of us went there for lunch. Our server was personable. Our food presentation was amazing. Tasty too. Millionaire bacon was yummy. As long as you order the food as it is listed on the menu, it’s great. Substitutions was an up-charge. I was thankful they could substitute my deep fried potatoes for a house salad that came with the Blackstone. I can’t eat deep fried food. My friend asked for no onions, but it was made with onions, but other than that we had a great experience. Thank you!

A quiet and pleasant place, just a 4 minute walk from the Santa Monica Pier.
The place was already full of people in the morning, and I even had to wait in line for about 10 minutes, maybe because I came on a Sunday morning.
Nice atmosphere and a menu where everyone can find something to eat.
Dish prices are around 25-35 USD.
