Sweet Manoa Cafe is such a sweet little cafe with absolutely lovely staff. I met Chef May and front of house Bliss, both were so kind and sweet. I got their omurice with a side of bacon and the raspberry tart latte. The omurice is very saucy and sweet, and a generous portion. Bacon was nice and crispy, just the way I like it! Different salad dressing options would be nice, I’m a vinaigrette person.
Their raspberry tart latte was really good! Will definitely be back to try more of Chef May’s creations 🙂

What a gem! I’ve been to Sweet Manoa a few times and they have been consistently very good and their staff are genuinely some of the friendliest we’ve encountered — warm, attentive, and full of that signature Aloha spirit. I went with the ham and egg on toast which was delicious and priced very reasonably. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Sweet Manoa is absolutely worth a stop. I’ll definitely be back soon!

NOT recommended. The store does not match their past reviews at all. Feels like a completely different store. They said they are in soft opening for some reason and none of the staff there knows what they are doing. Waited 40 mins for our simple orders of pancake and omelette. The food is worse than cheap fast food. Coffee was made with raw milk. The staff was smelling the milk before using them, not sure if they gone bad. I paid $24 for a scoops of rice and a small beef burger meat with some catchups. I will not recommend anyone come here.

Super friendly staff, it’s like they know you personally and they are always smiling. The egg, ham and cheese croissant I ordered was missing the cheese. I ordered online and picked it up. It was ready when I arrived but I was disappointed it was very dry. The pumpkin latte was ok. Not great but not terrible. I will probably give this place another chance while I’m in town, just because the employees were so nice.

ADORABLE AND DELICIOUS! The drinks and food are amazing, best local cafe near HPU campus. Coffee and espresso alone is perfect quality. The sandwiches and soufflé pancakes are to die for, the the cute and clean aesthetic make you want to stay longer. Will be my new coffee spot!

I recently dined at Sweet Manoa for lunch. We had a Clams pasta and black bean noodles The food was delicious and unique. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself was clean and had a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend Sweet Manoa to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience!

My husband and I walked into a nearly empty restaurant, which made the 45-minute wait for our food even more baffling. There were plenty of staff on hand, yet service felt disorganized and inattentive. I ordered a dish expecting curry sauce based on the menu photos—my fault for not double-checking—but what I got was a red, sweet pasta-like sauce that clashed terribly with the rest of the meal.
The staff seemed inexperienced and unsure of what was available. I was allowed to order two items that they later told me weren’t even in stock. My husband tried my hamburger steak and immediately noted the meat tasted sour. Neither of us finished our meals.
For two small spritz drinks (carbonated water and flavored syrup) and two plates of what tasted like reheated leftovers, we paid $70. The food was overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly unpleasant. Unless things drastically improve, I’d strongly recommend staying far away from this place. I never write reviews like this but if you’re the owners please consider this so you have a chance to stay in business.

I placed an order online, picked it up. The staff was friendly, and my order was already packed in a paper bag, ready for me when I arrived. I requested a substitution of steamed rice with angel hair pasta for the vegan steak, and they included extra angel hair pasta along with the steamed rice. The yuzu roll cake, one of my favorites, was delicious as always, and I also tried the strawberry gelato sundae and it was so tasty. The vegan Tteok-Galbi steak had a slight spiciness and tasted great. The salad that came with it was flavorful as well, and I finished every bite. I highly recommend all of these items!

Clean, vibes were immaculate, breakfast croissant was divine. I ordered ahead and didn’t have to wait upon arrival for my food. I will be returning.
