The food and service are excellent. The decor is beautiful. The atmosphere is quaint. Their prices are reasonable. The blueberry lavender tea is the BEST tea I’ve ever tasted! I highly recommend this place!

This place is downright adorable. We booked a Saturday reservation. It is basically a private dining experience since they are open by reservations on Saturday’s. The food(seasonal menu)- we had the smoked Gouda and pumpkin dip as an app and it was amazing! The tomato basil bisque soup was great as well!!! Scones 10/10 buttery soft, warm, and the Devonshire cream was so darn delicious! For entrees we had Cobb salad, chicken salad on croissant, ham & cheese pinwheels, and the hay stack. Overall the entrees were lacking that wow factor- the Cobb was great, but my mother had to request extra dressing as only about one oz is provided for the picture below. It was very much a let down after everything else being SO amazing! Our server was kind, but seemed less than friendly. Not as attentive as I would have preferred for a private, reserved experience. I just felt this experience and entrees could have been better.
*parking here is limited to street parking as available- not sure what they do if it isn’t available

We recently had Sweet Magnolias cater my cousin’s bridal shower, and it was the best decision! We ordered the coaches chicken salad, pimento cheese sandwiches, scones & blueberry lemon cake. Our guests raved about how good the food was, and their blueberry lemon cake was heavenly. I can’t wait to use them again for future events!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Sweet Magnolias Tea Room. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My food, the quiche, scones, broccoli salad, and the apple hibiscus tea were all delicious. I am looking forward to a second visit to try something different on the menu .

The food was homemade and amazing. We had the 3 tiered afternoon tea. The portions were generous. There were 3 meat croissants with turkey and cheese, ham and cheese and chicken salad. There were 3 desserts, one being a big slice of coconut cake. 2 salads, a cucumber salad and a Broccoli salad with plenty of fresh fruit. I had the fried green tomato BLT, and we also had the salmon salad. The food was so delicious. No complaints about any of the entrees. The scones were some of the best we have ever had. And we go to a lot of tea rooms. I only wish they served the scones with cream and lemon curd or jam for a more traditional English tea. They did have a good selection of hot teas. Leslie was our server and she was very fast and helpful. We drove from Tampa and will definitely come back.

This was my first high tea. The atmosphere was inviting, darling historic place with all of the sights, tastes and smells. The blueberry lavender tea was delicious both cold and hot. The tiers of scones, macaroons, quiche and fruit were delicious. My favorite was the tomato bisque. The group said the coconut cake was devine. The service unfortunately wasn’t that great. Our waitress forgot to bring our hot tea before the tier. We had to ask for tea cups, cutlery and refills. One of the tea cups had dried coffee /tea still on it, as if it wasn’t washed. There was a sandwich on the tray that was bland, it wasn’t dressed therefore left dry and easy to grow stale and flavorless. I enjoyed the experience and would like to try it again.

Yesterday I stopped in at Magnolia tea room as I was in the area and had seen it on tik tok and was intrigued! First off I’d like to say the ambiance was stunning! Each gorgeous room is beautifully decorated and immediately produced a high amount of comfort and excitement. I was also quickly welcomed and seated which was highly appreciated and for these reasons alone I will absolutely give this place a second chance. The real negative for me was the sticker shock. I did not ann a single pot of tea to be $8 or for meal items to be $18. This seems very reasonable for some of the entrees but definitely not for some of the “lighter side” items. That being said I made a mistake that I fully take responsibility for! After looking over the menu I against my better judgement for some reason settled on the pimento cheese grilled cheese. This was unfortunately a high disappointment as the $18 price tag and description implied that this would be an extremely high quality grilled cheese on thick homemade “grilled to perfection “ sour dough, unfortunately it was slightly soggy, very greasy thin bread not all the way toasted. I definitely blame myself for this as I should not have ordered such an expensive grilled cheese. Based on the description of the other items I would highly suggest there be some price differences between the entres and a salad or sandwich. The complimentary scone was delicious! The service was wonderful, other than I’d suggest next time asking if there was something wrong with the Food as a large portion was left uneaten. Again, This is just my opinion but especially with such a high price tag for a grilled cheese, the quality really should be top notch, unexpectedly good and that should be backed up by the waiters. I do plan on trying again, however I will save it for a more special occasion, knowing the price point and order the tea tier which sounded lovely. Definitely give this place a try, but skip the sandwich.

Took some sweet Gen Xers to tea and had a great time! They pencilled us in at the last minute and had a full high tea ready for us! Tea can be enjoyed outside on their lovely veranda or inside in the quaint bungalow. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and the food delish! They were arguable the best scones I’ve ever had at a tea room! Enjoy!

Very cute little bistro. The bistro is inside a very beautiful historic house. I happened to go on a very nice day and was able to sit on the front porch. The decor fit the part and the area was quite enough. I had the tea of the day, soup of the day, scone, and the southern quiche… the food was just as amazing as the atmosphere. Perfect spot for a date or quite getaway. I will definitely go again and next time bring friends!
