Ok, these Ahi Poke Tacos are GOOD!!!! The fried taco part isn’t greasy. It is perfectly fried. They call the sauce a “poke sauce”, which seems like a spicy mayo flavor. I’m pretty sure they use Sriracha, so be prepared for a little heat. I loved it. The coleslaw and tuna mixture is perfect! I would certainly come back for this!!

It was just ok. The “Idaho” potato was very small and it was supposed to be loaded but it was lacking. They were out of an appetizer and soup. The food was average and not worth the price. If you order the special make sure you ask the price! Service was OK. Overall disappointed with our first Idaho dining experience. It’s very much a sports bar with all the tvs.

love this place if you go to the ponder location, I hope you end up with the waitress Danette She was my waitress when me and my boys and a family member decided to go out for food and her service was top-tier. She kicked butt the food was amazing. She was on point all night never left our glasses empty got us everything we needed and the wait for foods was not long at all. Great job but serious props to our waitress and the chef.

I went to watch a basketball game and have some Ahi Poke Tacos, and Danette was my server. Danette is a phenomenal server! She was present whenever I needed something, and she let me enjoy my food without hovering. The Ahi Poke Tacos are exceptional! Unfortunately, my team lost the basketball game, but my time at Sweet Lou’s was still very enjoyable because of the food and the service! Thank you, Danette. Thanks also to the cooks!

Extremely tiny steak compared to the rest of the food given. The restaurant also was, apparently, out of ranch for a few days. Our server was pleasant but did not seem happy to be working. The restaurant was beautiful on the inside with tons of decorative potential. Would definitely try again.

Only great things to say about Lou’s in Ponderay. Every year, we spend a few nights in Ponderay for our annual ski trip and spend all three nights at Lou’s. The food is great, but most of all, we look forward to Michelle’s good natured bantering at the bar. Hanging with her is definitely one of the best parts of our trip. Stay next door at the Best Western, the best hotel with the best breakfast in the area that shares a parking lot with Lou’s, and you’ll be sure to enjoy your time in Ponderay.

We stayed in the Best Western Plus next door. It was very convenient for our stay. The food was good, service was good, drinks were good, and the wait was long. Seemed to be a popular spot.
