These employees definitely eat their own food!

This store is The epitome, the best of all the salad places I tried in my life and I’m a near daily customer.

First the salads have good flavor , quality and refinement. Options are very good. Every single thing I’ve tried is delicious. The sandwiches are indulgent. The smoothies are good (it’s a little tricky to realize that they use a heavy yogurt base based on the menu listing but solid protein).

There is plentiful meat especially with the steak salads and chicken. Seasonal items are good.

Of above all the service is very fast extremely consistent and friendly. I frequent this location and the one in McLean which has a nice patio.

Price for what you get is VALUE

I wish wish wish for so many healthy options like this, but very few places compare.

I was very disappointed with my visit on Friday. I stopped by after work hoping to relax and have a good meal. I understand it was busy and waited patiently for my salad, which was fine.

However, when I politely asked for the extra sauce I had originally requested, the employee responded in a raised, frustrated tone and did not let me finish speaking. It wasn’t what she said, but how she said it. It was embarrassing, especially with other customers watching. When I asked for a bag, she again seemed visibly annoyed.

What made it more uncomfortable was that she appeared much friendlier with other customers. As a Latina customer, I left feeling uneasy and disappointed. I hope management addresses this, as respect and customer service matter.

I always get my lunch from sweet leaf, i like the place because it has fresh and healthy food. I am really disappointed today because the bowl that i got is just filled with rice, the topping are just sprinkled the veggies that I added to my bowl is literally 5 pieces of zucchini and 1 piece of cauliflower. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me but this time it was really disappointing.

It has been quite some time since our last visit to this restaurant. We anticipate returning at some point in the future to indulge in its delectable food crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients.

We stopped at this restaurant while searching for a breakfast establishment in the area. We were delighted to witness the preparation of our food using fresh ingredients right before our eyes, and it was truly delightful. We were pleased with our breakfast selections and beverages, as well as with the satisfactory service. The restaurant’s spacious and clean interior contributed to our overall satisfaction with the dining experience.

Sweet Leaf is an incredibly clean, cozy and cute spot ideal for relaxing. The food is absolutely delicious, with options that are as healthy as they are varied, satisfying any craving. The employees are always kind and efficient, making the visit even more pleasant. A perfect experience – I’ll be back very soon!!

I went here a couple years ago and got food poisoning. Thought it may have improved, so I came again. The staff don’t really have any personality at all and seemed really burned out. My smoothie tasted bad, but the BLT was pretty good. Prices are more than they should be for what you get. Also the fruit cup is pathetic. The container is roughly the size of a single strawberry and contains even less. Probably won’t come again.

I was just in the Vienna, VA location where I purchased lunch. The staff that prepared my food were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the cashier that rang up my order was extremely rude. She rang up my food without asking me if I wanted something else, which I did. I wanted a smoothie and asked if they had non dairy options to which she said rudely there were no substitutions. I asked for a receipt and she yelled at me to wait until she finished packaging my soup. I only mentioned it because she barked at me to pay without asking me if I’d like a receipt. Prior to that when I first entered the store, she nearly knocked me down as she was reviewing her online pickup orders which were at a table on the way to the order placing station. It felt like I was asking too many questions for her, but it was simply my first time in the restaurant. I hate to say it but I likely won’t be back since the experience was ruined by her shockingly unkind and unprofessional demeanor.

One of my go-to spots for takeout. I usually get the salmon farro bowl with mixed greens, avocado, and chimichurri sauce—it’s consistently solid, and the portions are generous. I recommend keeping customizations minimal when ordering; a few times, my paid add-ons were missing, and I couldn’t reach anyone at the restaurant to get refunds.

In the past, the ventilation wasn’t great, and the space often smelled smoky, but I didn’t notice that issue today—maybe due to the weather or improved airflow. While they do have seating, it’s a bit hard to hear people across the table, possibly due to poor soundproofing, but most people order takeout, so it’s not too bad.

Lastly, the restroom seemed clean the one time I used it—nothing memorable, which is usually a good sign.

I do love sweet leaf and have been eating here since a long time but recently this maple location has seen a decrease in the quality of grilled chicken. For the past few times the grilled chicken has been very tough to the point where it is unchewable. Also the amount of chicken they add into the bowl for the price has also decreased considerably. So maybe one might get a better bowl at other chains for the same price? Food for thought…
