Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe did not disappoint! I ordered the spicy chicken nuggets (extra spicy with extra fried basil), and they were packed with flavor. The nuggets were perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and the fried basil added an amazing savory aroma and crunch. If you enjoy heat, the extra spicy level definitely delivers without overpowering the dish.
I also tried the bacon cheese fries, which were just as satisfying; crispy fries topped with generous bacon, melted cheese, and fresh green onions. Comfort food done right.
The service was excellent as well. The cashier was very friendly, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. The ambiance had a relaxed café feel, with plenty of seating and an open parking lot, making it a great place to dine in or hang out.
They also offer a nice selection of bakery items and drinks, which I’m definitely looking forward to trying next time. Overall, everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was on point. Highly recommend!

Sweet Hut was solid and totally fine for a casual bakery stop, but it didn’t feel like a must visit. The selection was decent, service was good, and it was still fairly busy on a Saturday night.
Selection
The variety felt pretty evenly split:
• About 50% savory breads
• About 50% sweet baked goods
And within the sweet side, roughly half of that looked cake related (so around 25% of the total selection was cakes). The cakes looked nice and well presented.
Taste and Quality
An Atlanta native told us this used to be one of the best spots around 12 years ago, but now this style of Chinese bakery is more common, so it doesn’t stand out as much anymore and the quality may have shifted over time. Still, there were some fun options.
We bought a taro pastry that looked interesting and decent (excited to try it). The pineapple bread also looked good, but we didn’t end up buying it.
Price and Value
Pricing felt a bit overpriced for a Chinese bakery, with small cakes around $4 each. That said, it’s not outrageous and felt on par with other Chinese bakeries I’ve seen in Washington state.
Service and Atmosphere
Service was good, and the space was lively. A small detail we appreciated: there was ice water available in the lobby seating area, which was convenient and thoughtful.
Would we return?

They have large selections of delicious, fluffy, milky, creamy, and fresh made pastries.
Service was very efficient.
But seating area can use a bit more cleaning, since not every customer has the courtesy to clean after themselves.
Price is reasonable , comparable to similar shops in the nearby area.
Located in a large shopping center so parking is definitely not an issue.

It was great! The place was quiet but in a nice way. There were so many options! The snacks were better than the drinks (shlushes) but they were nothing to cough at either. All in all, it’s a wonderful place to sit for a little rest after a long day

If you have been to a Korean bakery, this place is fantastic. If you have never been to Korean bakery, please go. The sweetness is turned down. There is more flavor than just sugar. While these desserts are sweet, they aren’t pure sugar. Some pastry are savory as well.

I love this place! I take my son here and we come in when they first open usually around 10 a.m….. I bring my iPad books papers and I get alot of stuff done. ✅
I recommend the Egyptian Butter bread , perfect with coffee , Violet which is a soft bun with taro in the center. My other top favorites are the spring onion, curry bun. It’s savory and the pairs well with the chai tea!

This was our first visit here, and we were like kids in a candy store. We really weren’t looking for anything in particular, but left with a few cakes and danishes to try. This shopping center caters mostly to Asian based businesses. There is plenty of parking, but it is very crowded on a Saturday. This store was not crowded, but busy. The store is ground level, so there is easy handicap access.
