Sweet Honey Café in Mundelein is such a wonderful addition to town! The restaurant is nice and clean, and the staff greets you immediately with genuine warmth. We were welcomed by the owner’s aunt, Tisha, and it was honestly one of the warmest greetings I’ve ever received in a restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire experience felt inviting and heartfelt. We will definitely be back. Welcome to Mundelein!

The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The pancakes were fluffy, (no picture since my child couldn’t wait) The waffle deserves its own shoutout — perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, with just the right touch of sweetness, the Nashville wrap was a perfect taste with the flavors dancing on your tongue! The specialty drinks were so delicious and the coffee was rich and smooth. You can truly tell they care about quality ingredients and attention to detail.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. They checked in at just the right times and made us feel valued as guests.

Took myself on a little solo date and ordered the sweet honey omelette with pancakes. Absolutely delicious I tell you. Fluffy, cheesy, and so flavorful. Love everything about this place and everyone I encountered was super friendly and attentive!! 10/10 recommend. Will be back again for sure!

Went to check out this new place during it’s first week of business and wow I was absolutely amazed at everything. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed and invited by a happy staff who was eager to serve their customers. I got the fiesta omelette with a English muffin and it was very delicious. The servers came up to me to check in at the right times without feeling like I was being smothered which is super important to me. Overall a great experience and worth stopping by for a meal.

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the corn hash skillet, and my husband ordered the cinnamon swirl french toast with a side of bacon — everything was so good. I also grabbed a Dubai iced coffee to go, and it was just as yummy!

Wow!!! This is a must try place…. and it must be tried soon so it can become your favorite place too. I went with 4 friends yesterday so the wait was a bit ( tables and booths comfortably accommodated parties of 4) .

Found this absolutely adorable place driving by! From the second you walk in it’s very inviting and very cute! I was excited to try it out! The food was delicious! From the coffee, the parfait, my omelet everything was outstanding. Food is decorated with edible flowers which add the absolute perfect touch. Very attentive staff. Checked on me constantly. Will definitely be back and I will recommend to everyone I know. A MUST try!

What a welcomed addition to the Mundelein village restaurant scene. Just recently opened, they nailed the staff service and food preparation as if they have been there for some time. Food is inviting and portions are filling, coffee is served hot, with a variety of choices including gluten free options. There are half portions available, a variety of waffles, and the cinnamon toast is delicious. Will definitely be returning often. Highly recommended.
