I found this nice coffee shop while in Americus. I needed to “kill” three hours so I stopped in and was able to use the wifi and work. I got a sandwich and the portion was huge! The biggest take away is the potato salad. You can’t every one’s and theirs was amazing. Two thumbs up!

Sweet Georgia Baking is my all-time favorite restaurant. Period. I went to college in Americus, and currently live outside of Atlanta, and I have never found anything or anywhere that compares to Sweet Georgia. When I come visit Americus a few times a year, I ALWAYS make sure to not only stop at Sweet Georgia, but stock up on meals for the entire weekend. And also always take a pound of chicken salad back home. I am especially a fan of the hot turkey sandwich, the cous cous salad any time of year, and of course the chicken salad.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I would eat here everyday if I still lived in Americus, and I make sure to eat there, or the food I bought the day before if it’s sunday, every time I come to town. It’s a huge reason I am willing to make the 3 hour drive!

I’ve only stopped by once, but the service was fast and friendly, the interior was cute and clean, and the pastries were delicious. I bought some kind of almond curd cake and a slice of carrot cake which came out to about $7 or $8. The prices were not on display though, which was a little inconvenient.
The curd cake had a wonderful combination of textures; the dense, crunchy almond slices went perfectly with the flaky, soft texture of the cake and the smooth texture of the curd. The carrot cake was also good; it’s what I expected a carrot cake to taste like, basically. The cream cheese frosting was a little too oily for me though.

Came into town to meet up with friends. Met up here for lunch today. Quaint little spot. I went for an IBC Root beer, BBQ chips and a Georgia Club. Great sammich. That being said, it is a littttttttle on the thick side. I had to deconstruct and eat it with a knife and fork and ate the bread separately. Tasty. They do pastries, coffee and sell tshirts.

Looked on their menu and seen they had a selection of sandwiches. Seen they had a few I wanted to try so I picked the blt and hot turkey sandwich. I like their bacon jam that comes on the blt sandwich so I would choose that sandwich next time I decide to eat there.

Great food every single time. Love their turkey salad, I always get it. My new favorite sandwich is their ham one! The chickpea sandwich was alright, guess you need to love chickpeas to love it.

I was here about 2:45 today
to pick up my “Salad Mozzarella Tomato OL” that I placed about about 20 minutes ahead of time. I gave the young lady a $20. My order was $10.27. I said just give me a $10 back and I’ll go to my vehicle to get .27. This was all before I received my order. She was hesitant about giving me the $10 before I went to my vehicle. She said “NO, no,no,NO! I’ll just give you the change! I said ma’am, I do not want the change, and to give me the $20 back if she didn’t think I’d bring the .27 back. She actually gave me $20 back. I went to my vehicle, retrieved .27 and gave it to her. She then said we’ll get your order ready. I said ma’am, this is a pick up order as stated in the beginning. This was my 2nd visit here for thus delicious salad, that is OH SO DELICIOUS! Every bite of this salad is SO DELICIOUS! The homemade dressing is delicious as well. Nothing needs to be added or taken away from this salad. It’s just perfect! It has the taste that keeps you coming back for more! With the customer service today, I’m only giving 2 stars instead of 5.

We stopped in for lunch on our way to the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park. This sandwich shop and bakery is delicious – definitely a place I’d recommend if you are in the Americus area. They boast a wide selection of sandwich, soup, and salad offerings, with quality house-made bread and dressing options.

A nice lunch spot in downtown Americus. Both times I’ve eaten here, I’ve had the rosemary chicken salad (salad), and it was delicious. Their house made focaccia is wonderful!
