Never again…the old mammy at the counter was extremely rude and was mad at me because their grubhub machine is not working. I ordered online and when I got there she had a very nasty attitude towards me because of it… she kept side eyeing me and was reluctant to serve me. The food wasn’t for me… otherwise I would have walked out. Places and people like this should not be in the customer service/ food business. Oh yeah… she also overcharged me about $5.00. I do not recommend

This is a tiny family owned restaurant that mostly focuses on take out although there are spots for indoor dining. I love their stew chicken and beef patties. Portions are big and very reasonable prices. Food is delicious and the gentleman who works there is very friendly to all customers. This was my 3rd visit and I brought my colleagues with me. We’d all go back we liked it so much.

Jamaican food is so underrated. For anyone working in the Bloomfield area, this should be a standard go-to. Not only is it delicious and inexpensive, service is really fast too. If the owners delivered to local offices and businesses, they could make a ton more revenue. Jerk Chicken and Goat Curry were the standout stars.

Absolutely disgusting place! They put food that’s supposed to be thrown out in a car that’s parked in the back to serve it later! Has roaches! Failed a health inspection twice! With a score in the 40s and you need at least a 90 to pass. This place needs to be shut down!

it’s the lady in the red coat who just left your establishment without buying anything including drinks that I already had in my hands to go purchase while waiting to order food. The nastiness of the older woman will be the demise of this business. If she’s the cook, she needs to stay in the kitchen and don’t care if she’s possibly the owner or not. She is single-handedly the reason this restaurant is getting 1 stars. I had literally just read the review from the poster 6 days ago and this woman and she didn’t disappoint. Well I’ll never return no matter how good it maybe cause quite honestly the market is saturated with Jamaican restaurants that are good as well. Oh and I was given this place a chance because I support black owned businesses and wanted my own opinion. Such a shame because the man is so nice and pleasant.

I have been going to the restaurant since the pandemic while working from home. I usually get the beef patty. A couple of times it was cold and no one wants a cold patty. After being frustrated/ disappointed last week there was 1 in the case so I asked the older server if there was any fresh ones coming from the back. Well she gave me a tongue lashing!! Asked me why I asked and when I said the last one was cold, got irate and said they don’t serve cold it had to have been warm! Then proceeded to harshly say they follow the government guidelines. Now this was in front of a customer. I kept my cool though. She then said “ah gwine gi yu a hot hot one” said in disgust and gave me what I had asked for. I felt insulted and will never go back. Customer service at its worst. I’ll drive to Golden Krust in HT!

Very poor customer service especially from that nasty Jamaican lady with the short hair cut. She needs to be fired immediately or not be working where she has to deal with the public…she bypassed my husband and I on purpose. Will never be going back again and will make sure I tell ppl to find another Jamaican restaurant because there are plenty more than this place….oh by the way..stop playing the Christian music lady with the short hair if you cant act like one…hypocrite!!
