Wow!! We will be back. Best curry chicken on rice. The stewed chicken was also terrific. Portions were immense. I loved the plantains that came with meal so much I ordered a side of them. Don’t skip this place, try it.

This is a tiny family owned restaurant that mostly focuses on take out although there are spots for indoor dining. I love their stew chicken and beef patties. Portions are big and very reasonable prices. Food is delicious and the gentleman who works there is very friendly to all customers. This was my 3rd visit and I brought my colleagues with me. We’d all go back we liked it so much.

Jamaican food is so underrated. For anyone working in the Bloomfield area, this should be a standard go-to. Not only is it delicious and inexpensive, service is really fast too. If the owners delivered to local offices and businesses, they could make a ton more revenue. Jerk Chicken and Goat Curry were the standout stars.

Stopped by today for lunch, and the food was incredible. The large portion was big enough for dinner leftovers. Ordered the stew chicken and have zero regrets. It was hot today, and I know the staff has to be sweating in the kitchen, but they were very pleasant, kind, and quick.

I visited on 9/29/2025. My meal was delicious as always. I had a medium jerked chicken, rice and beans with steamed cabbage and plantain and brown gravy on it. I also purchased a small curry chicken with rice and beans. It came with steamed cabbage and plantain.
It was a good portion. It’s my favorite place to get jamaican food. All the people there are very nice, especially the owners.

I purchased a small ackee with fried dumplings the ackee wasn’t fresh you could tell that it was old from the previous day . I was there at 10:am
if that ackee was cooked in the morning it
couldn’t have that look and another thing it was loaded with oil my whole container was soaked o got to toss it away.
