Ordered shami kebabs which were nice and chicken bhuna and chips which was good but £10.45 for that portion size and amount of chicken is too expensive.

Ordered 3 shami kebabs and 1 portion of samosas which came to £17.75. which looking at the image of what I actually got is ridiculous. I had to ask for more sauce and salad as I was only given 2 sauces and no salad. All 3 potions of shami kebabs came in wrapped in the same piece of foil, I was expecting for them to all be separate with their own salads and sauces. There were no cucumbers in the salad but the was some weird leaves.
You get more sauce if you get takeaway from the cafe. You get more sauce and salad if you eat in the restaurant and better service from certain waiters. The price of the shami kebabs has gone up from £4.50 to £4.75, the chicken bhuna has gone from £10.45 to £10.95 and the chips have gone from £2.95 to £3.50.
The service is getting worse every year. My dad has been coming here since it opened, I have been coming since the 90s and my daughter has been here too. When my wife was pregnant with her she wanted a paratha and she was told she could not have one because the chef that makes them was not in, now that is absolutely appalling.
We ordered Samosas, seekh kebabs, chips and masala fish and all were very nice. Had to order more samosas as it was that good.
For mains we had Maggas, which tasted fresh along with naan. Also the green sauce was so good I was actually drinking it.
Would love to thank the staff especially 2-3 that me and my family know as the loyal staff have always worked there and they have always looked after us, would like to thank them especially, have been coming for years so we’ve built a good relationship which is great.
If it wasn’t far from me I would maybe come every week haha, and to the uncle at the till don’t worry I still remembered to leave a review as I said I would especially with the great food and great service today haha…wish all the best to the business and pray that they carry on with the great work!
Came on Tuesday to order some desi breakfast. However, I left my money and card at home. Told the person in charge the situation. He was very nice and polite, understood and said bring it later it’s fine.
Took the food home ordered 5 puree, 1 chick pea chana and 1 halwa. Food was hot, amazing and just right. Went back to the restaurant to pay. The person in charge remembered me. His hospitality was amazing he offered me a drink on the house which I obliged he pick for me. He gave me a Rubicon Mango cold and deliciously refreshing. Thank you.
This isn’t me telling people to go try getting food without paying as they will let you off . This is a sign of respect, acknowledgement and trust.
Israr you was a true gentleman. May God the almighty shower his blessings upon you and the business always. Guys you need to try they’re desi breakfast it is to die for as they say. Been around for ages. Best in the game. Good luck guys. All the best.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The gentleman who served us was not only helpful in guiding us through the menu but also shared the rich history of the restaurant, which has clearly been in his family for generations. His passion and pride were evident and added a personal touch to our visit.
The food was outstanding. I had the chickpea curry and Samosa Chaat, accompanied by Puri breads and a Desi Chai drink (which reminded me of Ovaltine—absolutely delicious). Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented.
While the restaurant wasn’t busy during our visit—hence the 3-star atmosphere rating—I can easily imagine it buzzing with energy in the evenings. I’ll definitely be returning for another breakfast and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Asian cuisine in Bradford.

The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable — perfect for dining with family or friends. Portions were generous and prices were very reasonable for the quality.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious food and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back
