THE BEST SCONES IN INDIANA HANDS DOWN!! Coffee is superb as well ESPECIALLY paired with the scones! We do the Coffee Trail and live a couple hours away from Sweet Beard and I look forward to this place EVERY YEAR!

I was in town for a conference and went to Sweet Beard twice. The scones and cookies were delicious and the chocolate croissant rivaled any bakery in France. The wonderful staff also offered to add heavy whipping cream to my coffee which is my favorite way to drink it. I wish I lived here so I could go back regularly and taste everything!

Went here for the first time this morning. What a lovely place! The store is clean and well kept. The employees were nice. It smelled amazing! Plus, the danish and scone was perfectly cooked. I was very impressed with the danish dough. So often, bakeries overcook it or under sweeten it. This was a delicious, flaky, beautiful bite. 10/10 recommend. I found my new spot!

If you don’t want to enjoy the most delicious freshly baked pastries made by Tracy (the best baker) and sold by nicest local family, you’ll want to skip this gem of a bakery.

As a lover of well-made pastry, I was dubious the first time I walked in the doors.

Now, a mere couple of months later, I walk there almost daily and had to create an entire line item in my budget for ALL their tasty treats!

In addition to the usual flaky croissants and delicious danishes, you’ll find a selection of both savory AND sweet scones in the cases.

The bacon & cheddar scone WAS my favorite – until I had the jalapeño scone. Then I tried the sausage and cheddar scone.

Now I just buy one of each, because they are ALL the best!

Did I mention the blueberry scones?

I probably shouldn’t tell you about them, because when you find out how ridiculously yummy they are, you’ll buy them all and there won’t be any left for me.

So forget I said anything.

Which means I definitely shouldn’t tell you about how amazingly perfect Tracy’s shortbread is.

It’s so good, even my Scottish ancestors would approve.

So, yeah – I won’t tell you about it.

In fact, I should delete this review entirely – just to make sure you don’t buy all the pastry perfection before I get there.

But supporting small, local, family owned business is super important, so I’ll tell you to go here RIGHT NOW and buy all the things!

Just make sure you leave me a scone…

Lovely shop! Perfect place to stop for a treat and catch up with friends. I got a coffee and an apple turnover. The pastry was delicious. The coffee was pretty basic. It’s definitely more of a bakery than a coffee shop. Super clean inside and the older couple running the counter were very hospitable.

Hey everyone if you are looking for a great place to get a coffee & a snack, check out Sweet Beard Bakehouse over on Walnut in Lawrenceburg. I went there today, the coffee is good as was the croissant I got. The interior is really nice, the prices are about normal for a coffee shop. The only thing I saw that I didn’t like was they only had 2 choices for coffee. So you can’t get anything fancy there really. But otherwise, they also had a bigger room they rent out for birthdays or meetings

Delicious!!! The sweets are amazing! So happy this is in my hometown of Lawrenceburg because I would drive pretty far for these treats! The strawberry/pineapple Blondie and the cinnamon sugar cruffin are two of the best sweets I’ve had in my 40 years of life. Friendly staff and cute place in downtown Lawrenceburg. Highly recommend!

Pastries are amazing! I always want one of everything. The only downside is having to exercise some self-control and pick just a few. Everything is just so flavorful. I love the bacon cheddar scones and the various sweet scones and the danishes, too. This is an excellent bakery.

It is difficult to find a coffee shop where the atmosphere is quite & pleasant and where the coffee & baked goods are delicious! Sweet Beard Bakehouse nails it! It is worth the small detour to come down & grab a little bit of delight.
