Absolutely fantastic. Pizza was light so a 12″ was a great lunch portion. Went with a neo and tomato pie. I wasn’t able to make it home so you get partial pictures of the pizzas.

We were visiting my wife’s family and friends for the holidays in Westlake, and one of her friends suggested Sweet Basil Neapolitan Style for a meetup. It was a perfect choice!
There were three parents and five kids in our group, and the restaurant’s kid-friendly vibe was a huge hit. The small arcade in the back kept the kids entertained while we waited for our food. Just make sure to bring plenty of quarters!
The timing was excellent—when the kids came back for more coins, the food was ready. And let me tell you, it was fantastic! Everyone loved it, from the adults to the kids (always a win for family outings). Each family had a to-go box and pizza left over.
The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the whole experience made for a memorable holiday get-together. Highly recommend Sweet Basil for anyone looking for amazing food in a family-friendly environment!

That pizza was absolutely outstanding! It’s always a good sign when you can SEE them spinning and making the pizza…yah know it’s gonna be good because there’s nothing to hide. The crust was well seasoned and perfectly cooked.

I was told about this place and that if I am ever in the area, it’s a must to stop here. The drive is an hour to get there but I can say with zero hesitation…..their pie is EASILY top 3! You know it’s going to be good when they hand spin every pie and in clear view of the dining room. HIGHLY recommend!

We stumbled upon this place last minute. Place was closing at 10 and we arrived there at 9.40. Owner was there and we said we will take out he said no sit down we will get you fed. I was like it’s just 20 mins before your closing time still he was super nice and said we can stay. So we sat and ordered 2 pizza and sweet basil special Mac and cheese for kids. I have never seen my kids finishing Mac and cheese that quick and then jumped on our pizza too. Pizza was hand tossed and crispy thin with all fresh ingredients. Can’t sing enough how good those 2 pizzas were. All team members were super helpful and even though it was past their closing time. After we were done we spoke the owner for a while named Danny. Super nice and chill guy. It’s a must visit Neapolitan pizza place with lots of options.

Used to live in New England and was craving a Frank Pepe’s (New Haven,CT)
Clam pie. A friend recommended Sweet Basil and remembered how great their crust is.
Ordered the clam pie with double clams. The husband was VERY happy. It was delicious. I do like a bit more char on my crust, but I have ordered it 3 times now. I wish sold their dough!
Have to put the 14-inch box in the back of my SUV.
Next time the named Frank Pepe’s tomato pie.

The pizza was essentially just a seasoned crust with minimal toppings and barely any sauce. Despite requesting extra cheese, it had hardly any. This was my first and will definitely be my last visit. I wasted $40.18 on this meal. The Greek salad was decent, but the temperature inside the facility was uncomfortably cold. Overall, it was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had.

Great service, friendly waitress, clean and nice atmosphere, pizza pricy for the amount of toppings which was a bit of a disappointment compared to previous visits. Not a deal breaker and hopefully next time there will be some more substance! Trying to support small business so a few more pieces of sausage shouldn’t out you in debt! Don’t join the greed train! ❤️
