VERY good food! The ladies are friendly and profesional. The environement especially on a synny bright day is warm, bright and welcoming. The music is calming and not too loud which is nice.

I was visiting a friend and we always go to this restaurant when I’m in town. He’s been eating at Sweet Basil for over 20 years. He warned me that the past few years have been a hit or miss, but we decided to give it a try anyway.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We ordered chicken and broccoli and specifically asked for extra sauce. The receipt even confirmed the extra sauce request. However, what we received was a dry bowl of rice, chicken, and vegetables with about a teaspoon of sauce.

When I called to address the issue, the response was disappointing. I was told, “Sorry, we have a new cook,” and “We didn’t charge you for the extra sauce.” There was no offer to fix the issue, no invitation to stop by for more sauce, and no real attempt to make things right. The only solution offered was extra sauce on my next order. This restaurant has changed owners over the past few years and has gone down hill in quality and service.

OMG. SO good. We ordered the spicy calamari, mango spring rolls and shrimp pad thai and it was absolutely stunning. The server was also amazing, so cheerful and friendly. What a great experience!

Great place for lunch/dinner. Very kind and fun young staff. Taste of every dish is unique and at par. Most appealing feature of this place is cleanliness. If Inhave recommend one dish it would be Hot and Sour soup. ❤️

I ordered the lunch special with the fried rice. The rice was a couple of bean sprouts, tiny pieces of egg, and a small drizzle of soy sauce. It wasn’t good at all!

As avid Thai food lovers…my husband and I have never had bad Thai food until this place. We ordered the red curry and the cashew chicken, and when we opened the dishes the smell itself was off, and the dishes were missing so many flavors. We didn’t end up eating the meal (at least the appetizers were good – I will say their egg rolls are fantastic). We were so excited to try a new Thai place, but ended up out $50 with no dinner 🙁 there are so many authentic options around the area, I would recommend skipping this one

We ordered take-out beef laab and papaya salad (Lao style) very disappointed. The laab was extremely watery..like what? This is the first time I’ve encountered this. Their advertising and 1 pic review did NOT show this watery salad. Everyone knows laab isn’t a watery/soup dish. Quite frankly, that ruined the dish. $16 for the beef laab with no tripe/honeycomb, watered down isn’t worth it. 1/5
As for the papaya salad, it had a lot of juice and very little to eat. $13- 1/5. Would not recommend it as “authentic” thai food.

Food was just exceptional. Also, they’re not kidding with their spice, so be mindful of that.
The husband and myself ate the spicy basil fried rice, the sampler for the appetiser. Delish. Will definitely go back.
The only thing I would say, and this is me picking, is the calamari in the appetiser. Too little of a quantity for too much of a price.

This place has some of the best Spring Rolls I’ve ever had. They are so tasty, light, and refreshing! And the peanut sauce?! I always have to get two because it’s so good. I love trying new entree items from Sweet Basil but their combo Rahd Nah remains my favorite. The stir fry was decent but I wouldn’t order it again. I’ve also tried their sesame chicken, which was different than what I expected but was still very good! I’d definitely order it again. The staff is very pleasant as well.
