There is nowhere else we would have wanted to get our wedding cake and desserts! Sweet Arts has always felt like home since it first opened on Geneseo’s Main Street, and its baked goods never disappoint. Their cinnamon buns are truly the best, but working with Brian and Ruth Ann to design our wedding cake and pick our desserts was absolutely wonderful! They went above and beyond, and truly, our cake was so delicious our photographer had to tell us to slow down eating it when we were trying to take photos! We can’t wait to go back to Sweet Arts again soon and order our wedding cake for our anniversary.

After going to sweet arts through my time in college I am frankly disappointed with the decrease in quality from everything but the sweets. Being a bakery, of course the sweets HAVE to be good- and they don’t disappoint. I still love their cinnamon rolls and their cookies!
But, I hate to say it, the drinks and savory options are just not good anymore. They are perpetually sold out of things unless you’re there before 10am, they have limited their options, and the quality on some things is just downright bad. I consistently get half filled cappucinos with burnt espresso, matcha that’s grainy and tastes like water. In fact, let me emphasize: The matcha latte looks like cloudy swamp water as opposed to an actual latte. It feels like I have to do a coin toss to see if they will have one of the baked goods they consistently run short on.
I wouldn’t ordinarily go out of my way to diss a place I love- but I sincerely hope they improve if they get criticism. Otherwise- I probably won’t go there for anything but the occasional cinnamon roll.

While visiting SUNY Geneseo as my son decides on which college to attend, we explored the town and stumbled upon Sweet Arts Bakery. This cozy little spot was an absolute gem! We ordered cappuccinos for ourselves and a chai latte for our son, and they were fantastic. The highlight, however, was their cinnamon rolls – they are truly out of this world! The perfect mix of soft, sweet, and cinnamon goodness. If you’re in Geneseo, don’t miss this bakery!

We just celebrated our 1 year olds birthday and Sweet Arts did a FANTASTIC job! We asked for a a cake covered in daisies and ladybugs and what we got was perfect for our little one. We loved it and it tasted DELICIOUS! We definitely will be back in the future for birthday cakes! also the cinnamon rolls here are hands down the best you will ever have!

My wife and I used Sweet Arts for our wedding cake and I can not say enough nice things about the experience. From the moment we laid eyes on the cake to the last crumb hitting the plate we had a smile on our face.
We sent them a single picture from Pinterest and requested a flavor they did not even have on their menu. The results were phenomenal. We ended up with the cake of our dreams (pictured below) which came out identical to the photo we shared. The filling request? CANNOLI!!! They didn’t even blink at the request and the flavor was amazing. The also delivery our cake to the venue, which was a huge stress relief to not have to send someone day of to pick it up!
Our plan was to have this cake just for us and to have hand passed desserts for the guests. After we cut the cake and did our photo moment we turned around to a line of older relatives who all proclaimed they were eagerly waiting for a slice. We gladly sliced it up and handed them out and the responses from everyone we the same as our own, Wow.
I will recommend these folks to anybody.
One last part that needs to pointed out…we emailed them with this request two weeks before the wedding.
To sum this experience up; We ordered this last minute and they gladly accepted the order. We asked for a flavor the did not have on menu and they said no problem. We sent them a single photo from the internet, asked if they could replicate it and they said you got it. It looked perfect. It tasted amazing. Everybody loved it.
We genuinely appreciate you and will remember this cake forever.

I purchased an off the menu iced matcha latte. They should bring matcha latte to the menu. Something to froth the milk and a higher quality matcha would make it more enjoyable. The latte was very watery and dull in color. Other than the that, I enjoy their cinnamon rolls.

I’ve been purchasing Cinnamon and Pecan Rolls for a long time here – Best I’ve ever had (I’d like to think I’m an expert on the topic – lol). The staff are ALL amazing, friendly, always welcoming and cater to me (always have extra plates/forks/napkins ready – She drew a pic on my to go bag – it’s the little touches)!!!!!!!

Sweet Arts Bakery created an amazing custom cake to help celebrate my wife’s retirement from the FBI. They actually improved on the FBI logo and make it come alive in 3D, covering 2 layers of vanilla cake with raspberry filling. She was very pleased, and the whole family thought it was one of the best cakes they’ve ever eaten! I recommend Sweet Arts Bakery when you need a custom cake or are just in the mood for their outstanding pastries and cookies.

I ordered a care package for my daughter’s birthday to be delivered at SUNY geneseo and she ended up wanting to come home a day earlier than she originally planned. I am grateful they were able to accommodate us and at the last minute make her delivery within a couple hours notice and a whole day early.
