This restaurant serves great food that’s executed technically and flavors are layered with intent. Portions vary by plate, but expect to pay $40-50 per person for a full meal. I had some reservations when I saw this restaurant listed on a website that ranked it as one of the best new restaurants in the West Philadelphia suburbs, but the first bite of their non-rotating menu chicken skin tea sandwich erased all my doubts. While most menus rotate every month, this sandwich remains a constant. We tried five dishes, and each one was superb. I’ll definitely be returning, even though it’s a 40-minute drive.

Every dish is made with love and you can taste it. So much flavor and attention to detail. This is better than Michelin Star dining I have had as a NYC local.

We had a great experience dining here! Most of the dishes are delicious (e.g., steak, roasted chicken, sweet potato hummus, shishito peppers), and only the oxtail soup is a bit too salty for me. Look forward to coming back!

Owner/ Chef Zach was wonderful! His menu was fresh, portioned well and very delicious. Each dish was plated with the utmost care, flavors and textures were such a treat to the palate. We enjoyed every bite!

Lovely staff and great atmosphere, everyone working is sweet and helpful, love the mulled wine and I can never stop thinking about the chicken skin sandwich! Highly recommend if you’re looking to take yourself or someone out for a nice time with amazing food. Definitely will be going back.

My husband and I had the most wonderful lunch here today!!! We stopped by for the first time and had the most amazing food. We tried multiple dishes and each one was so wonderful. The owners and chef were extremely welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful.
They told us that they change the menu monthly as they use fresh, local ingredients. The quality came through on each dish. The wine list was definitely well thought out. Every second of our lunch was enjoyable. We are absolutely looking forward to eating at Sweet Amelia’s again!!

When we were the the hostess was working the front ALONE on a Saturday for dinner. She did a bang job. Food also comes quickly and with care.
We tried a lot of their food. The spashish style potatoes with muscles was good, but I don’t think the muscles are the correct choice for that dish, still was very enjoyable.
Had the pasta (in photo) soft sauce and yummy. The other pasta was heavy in flavor but also good. I wish the pickled mushrooms were cut smaller and of a different variety to be honest. Other dishes in photo were good, the cheese and sourdough bread one needs more bread and needs to be sprinkled with some coarse salt.
Did not enjoy the sangria. The blackberry old fashioned was good.
The prices were on par with what I wanted and expected.
Enjoyed the experience here a lot!

This place is hands down one of the best restaurants in Chester County.
The food is incredibly thought out and intentional. Locally sourced and just flat out delicious with all pretentious taken out of it.
We went for their NYE tasting menu and could not have been more blown away.
The team as a whole made our experience the best NYE my wife and I have ever had.
We truly can not recommend this local gem highly enough.

The food was fantastic, and the front of house experience was top notch. Don’t miss out.
UPDATE: The above was my initial review, and since then, we’ve been back 4 additional times! It has become our date night spot. The food is always delicious and the service is superb. With the menu changing, it never gets old, and you have the opportunity to try something new that you might not try elsewhere.
Seriously, there is never anything on the menu that isn’t incredibly good.

No better way to end or begin your trip to Longwood Gardens. Outstanding restaurant owned by a husband and wife. Food was all farm to table with incredible, fresh ingredients. Their attention to detail is fantastic. We started with the brussel sprouts (phenomenal), beets and pekoras which were all so delicious. Had the swordtail and braised short rib for mains, both so well done with fantastic flavors. They also make all their pastas in house. Will be coming back!
