Came in for lunch today. Had a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and cole slaw. I also had a Faygo Rock & Rye to wash it down. First time eating lunch here and it was good but I like the breakfast even more! The burger was your traditional diner style smash burger and was pretty good. The French Fries were good but I prefer them to be crispier. Cole Slaw was ok. It was pretty good on my burger.

They catered the post funeral luncheon and we are very pleased with the results.
The food was very well organized and pleasing to the eye. They were very attentive to refilling the food trays and making sure the food tables were kept clean.
They were very polite all throughout the luncheon and were there ready to serve before the people arrived.

A fantastic Mom and Pop diner! Swedes Restaurant has been around seemingly for ever. I prefer to go to breakfast there rather than dinner. Weekends during peak times, there is usually a wait to be seated. The staff are well trained and friendly. The food is prepared as it should and served promptly. If your in mulliken and hungry stop by and grab some home cooking in a local small town eatery experience.

Great place to stop in for breakfast before work. Very friendly staff and the owner remembers you and says hi. Wish they were open for dinner more often, but the days they are open, it is really good food. They have catered meals for my family before and that is an amazing service. Definitely recommend this small restaurant.

I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, so I walked over to this restaurant. Many times, people will avoid an establishment when the exterior of the business doesn’t look very inviting. I’ve found that most of the time, places that are termed “hole in the wall” restaurants often have some of the best food. The service was phenomenal and the waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Even people working in the back greeted you and inquired about how you were doing. This is a mom and pop type of restaurant and the food is made to order. Freshly baked bread was on the countertop, and I saw fresh produce being taken out of the refrigerator. The food was very good and had a home cooked taste to it. Very happy that I tried this restaurant. It’s not fancy and the interior looks like something out of the 1960s or ’70s but I personally enjoy that Hometown feel and love hearing customers speaking to the Cook and the workers as if their family members.

If you like good old fashioned home cooking, meatloaf, cod dinners, hot roast beef sandwiches and the best pancakes for a more than fair price this is your place.
Sure the place is run down and the door doesn’t shut all the way. Service is always excellent, homemade mashed potatoes and bread. You’ll feel welcome when you walk in. Give it a try been coming here for years.
