Dinner was excellent! The garlic Parmesan oysters were fabulous, perfectly prepared. Sunday broasted chicken was moist and tender… the perfect Sunday dinner. Baked haddock was excellent, as was the twice backed potato. Salad bar and soup delicious .

Cute place! We love the Sunday Bunch! Their coleslaw is excellent!! Prime rib is alright, but the French toast sticks make up for it, and don’t get me started on the most seriously delicious strawberry shortcake! Don’t forget to grab some boasted chicken, such great seasoning and flavor! Yum!

I’ll definitely give this place another shot in the future, but we went on a night there was a retirement party so it was insanely busy. We got a table pretty quick and the hostess said she would sit us and get our order in before the large party, which was very courteous. We all ordered the ribeye (3 of us). It came with soup and salad bar which was small but clean. Soups were both very good. When the steaks came out, my husband’s was fine temperature wise. Mine and my friends were both cold in the middle. We ordered medium rare. We decided after both trying a bite, to send it back and though the server said we were his only table, he didn’t come back for what felt like a long time. In the mean time, we ate our soup, potatoes and and the appetizer my friend ordered. When he finally came back, we sent our steaks back to be cooked, and even the server said he was surprised how fast they came out. It was better the second time it came out, but still not a great cut for a ribeye, and definitely not well seasoned to be charging 36$ for a steak. I’m usually not a harsh critic, and maybe I picked a bad day to go, or bad time. When the server was around, he was a good server. I think he was probably just busy helping out the retirement party. No adjustments to our meals was offered, nor were refills of our sodas while we were waiting for our steaks to come back from the grill again. Will give another chance and update my review as needed.

We had Prime Rib mine was 75% fat, the meat was grayish in color, absolutely No juice on the plate, cold and it tasted like liquid smoke. I’ve never had prime rib that tasted, or appeared looking like that! Absolutely AWFUL! I had 1 bite and I was done. My cousin had about 5 bites. We hadn’t eaten all day and very much looked forward to a good meal. Potatoes were cooked way ahead of time butter wouldn’t even melt on them I had baked she had twice baked. We had to ask for bread ( were given 2 small rolls) which was the part of meal that was warm. Salad bar was ok Or we were just that hungry. Our waitress was Wonderful, personable and very kind. She only charged us for 1/2 a meal, we were not even gone 10 minutes and we were both in Restrooms. Such a shame because now days it’s usually bad service Not the case here, service was GREAT. FOOD on the other hand Terrible! For 29.95 a plate it should have at least been edible, it was NOT!

We found this place when searching for Supper Clubs in Antigo, WI. We really liked it. Lots of wide open seating, separate bar area, and a salad bar.
And just look at these menu prices! Although we didn’t get the cod fish fry, just look at the price, $10.95. We saw a plate of this and the pieces were huge, along with fries and slaw.
We started with cheese curds and spinach artichoke dip. Then dove into the soup and salad bar. Prime rib was perfect and very tasty. Ground Sirloin had lots of onions and mushrooms.
I hope we’re in this area again to enjoy this place.

I don’t often leave a bad review but here goes… To give them an alibi, it was Valentine’s Day and very busy. But 20 minutes before our order was taken, about 45 minutes to get our food that was cold. The baked potato was lukewarm, as we the tater tots. Prime rib was actually cool to the touch as we some of the crab legs. It stretched dinner into two hours. And no bill adjustment, offer for a free rings if drinks, or dessert. The food once fixed was good but not overall worth the hassles. We’re going to give the new owners a bit of time to adjust and will try again in 6 months or a year.

This restaurant has all the nostalgia of a great Northwoods Supper Club. Jessica whipped up a brandy alexander and brought it to my wife for an after dinner drink, great service!! Jessica is always friendly and quick to insure the entire dinning experience runs smoothly. Excellent menu choices and always great food! The salad bar is a delight to have access to and Swartzendruber Supper Club is definitely one of my favorite places to dine!

I like to go to Swartzendrubers any chance I have. Especially when I know Jessica is tending bar.
Jessica always has a smile and my drink ready for me. My grandkids love her because she is so friendly and takes time to talk to them. I can kid around with Jessica and she makes it fun to sit at the bar. Friday night I noticed the special was Parmesan Crusted Haddock and when I had questions about it Jessica took the time to answer my questions.
That was the best haddock I have ever had. The flavor was so good and fish was so tender and flaky. The salad bar always has fresh lettuce and great soups along with a variety of items. It is a meal in itself. Never have I been disappointed with the staff or food.

Our food was good and our waitress was super busy and did her best to make sure that we were taken care of. However the bartender kept coming in the dinning area and was screaming at the servers non stop. And this really kind of ruined our dinner experience. My 9 year old said he even seen someone throw something across the kitchen while yelling. We even watched one other family at the table next to us just up and leave while waiting for there food. It will be a long time before we go back. But I would like to thank our waitress for doing her best.
