Love the food, atmosphere,
I have been coming here forever and have always had it as our go-to spot for great food. Love the local artwork in the main dining room. The staff is always gracious and knowledgeable.
We just went back yesterday with a party of 8. Everything was outstanding! Including the service.
Great place.
We went back again, and had the pheasant pate, an order of baked oysters with garlic butter for appetizers, then we had the seared Cod ,and the mashed potatoe and red onion Flatbread, followed by the chocolate cake and black pepper ice cream.
Another great meal, good service, and we love the artwork on the walls!

I am thoroughly disappointed in my experience with Swan Bar. I haven’t been out in a while and decided to come back to my old stomping grounds to meet some friends for drinks and food. When you go out to eat and celebrate, what do you expect? Especially at a well established and pricey restaurant…..you hope to experience memorable food and quality service. I don’t complain EVER when I go out. I understand that things happen in the kitchen, humans aren’t perfect, and mistakes are made. However, if there’s a problem and it’s brought to your attention, what I don’t understand is what I experienced. I ordered the oyster stew and when the dish was served, it was an underwhelming portion for almost a $20 dish. I’m not exaggerating, approximately 3 bites in the entire serving. I politely informed the waitress and was met with haste and contempt. I have never in my life experienced anything like this. She took my dish and asked if I wanted anything else. I didn’t want anything else, and had to again explain that it just seemed as if the bowl was empty. Everyone at my table agreed. Something seemingly so easy to fix turned into what seemed like a personal attack. She finally returned the dish and what I was given back, I shouldn’t have eaten. It was oysters floating in cream and water broth????? See picture for reference. At this point I just stayed quiet and didn’t want to complain anymore but I have to say…..this experience allowed others at the table and surrounding tables to admit that Swan Bar food is completely underwhelming for the price. Yes the ambiance is nice, but service and food is just bad. I don’t need to spend my money and my time at a place that treats their customers this way. Why can’t we learn to treat people with respect? Especially paying customers. I will not be coming back and I will continue to tell people of my experience because it was really that bad and disappointing.

This was our 2nd time here, we decided to bring some friends. The chicken is delicious. My husband had it last time & kept saying how good it was so I had to get it. He had the ravioli but wished he had ordered something else. It was good & so many & good heated up as leftovers, but not as good as the chicken. We love the bread but I wish they would leave a basket, instead of doling it out 1 piece per person. Drinks & desserts were good. We sat upstairs which was ok, different feel than downstairs. Service was a bit slow, there was a big party going on in another room. We got the last spot in the parking lot which was great because the street was full.

Three of us. Two hqd the rare tuna which was fantastic and I had the burger. It was good but limited on the topping choices and the side of good potato salad along with the side of potato chips was redundant. I should have asked for alternatives to the chips but didn’t know until the plates arrived. Server was great.
