I love the swamp Guinea. It was my first time going there. All the food was fresh food. I had ordered the philly cheese steak cheese sticks onion rings and my kids had gotten chicken and fries and my spouse got wings. All of it was perfect. The philly cheesesteak was huge and it was so beautiful. And the kids and my spouse loved their food too. The service was fantastic. And they have live music and a bar in the swamp bar part

The food was fair. The server seemed confused the entire time he waited on us. It wasn’t horrible but it isn’t a place that I would ever want to go to again. Honestly, Captain D.’s is better and that takes some doing. The atmosphere was below casual. I just wasn’t impressed.

My husband & I love this place. Weve never had a bad meal yet. Went last weekend, with a friend & had raw oysters & wings. Biggest & best oysters weve had in a long time !! The staff is always friendly. We recommend it to everyone who wants to eat great food & enjoy a friendly smile !!

Ordered cheese sticks never received them. Husband ordered chicken strips as an apatizer and got after starting meal. Food was good service sucked and the place was not that busy where we sat. I would have left a tip if I had just received one refill of tea without having to ask over and over

Been going there for years. Always great service and good food. They have added Swamp Bar with live music every Saturday Night. On busy summer weekends service can get slow. But heck we are always on lake time so we just order another beer and relax.

We got seated almost right away. Waited about 10 minutes to even get our drink order. Ordered and appitizer it did not come out till after our meal did!! Then our glasses were empty for about 10 minutes at a time. Food was nasty!! It was like it was reheated!! It was freezing cold inside!! Asked for the air to be turned down so we could eat with out shaking and shivering due to being so cold that did not happen either. Our waiter said management so NO!! Our bill for 2 dinners and a appitizer was $45.00 so NOT WORTH IT!! I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!

I got the seafood platter. It was good. It was crowded. Mostly older crowd, above 40s. The wait staff are all really nice. We will definitely go again. I want to try something different maybe a burger or sandwich.

The best place to go in Hartwell for a great night out. Brian and Judy (owners) are some of the best people you will ever meet. Staff is also super nice and easy going. Try the catfish and cajun frog legs! Great service, great food, live music Thurs-Sat.

Well, it’s not Swamp Guinea anymore. Its Swamp Bar & Grill. No more all you can eat. Let’s just say extra loud music. Now you just order a plate of whatever you want. Seems to be the same great food but know that the floor and tables vibrate to the loud live bands. I mean if your looking to party, have a good time, this is the place. If you want to bring your family and sit down to enjoy a nice quiet meal, this is not the place especially if you have children. Prob would not have stopped if I knew of the changes. Smh. Anyhow, food is damb good, service is great, just bring earplugs . (Can call ahead an see what nights they have live music)
