Reviews
For the main course, we ordered some bread, dal tadka, and chicken kadai. While the taste was good and enjoyable, the portion sizes were quite small, especially considering the pricing.
Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment of the night was the chicken Mandi. Having tasted authentic Mandi in India and at multiple places across the US, this version was nothing close to what Mandi is supposed to be. The chicken pieces were heavily marinated on the outside, but the flavor had not penetrated the meat at all, making it very bland overall. It simply did not resemble Mandi in taste, texture, or experience.
We shared our disappointment with the management, and they initially mentioned a 15% discount due to the issue. However, when the bill arrived, the discount was only 10%, which added to the frustration.
Overall, I would recommend sticking to the basics here and avoiding the Mandi, especially if you know what authentic Mandi tastes like—it’s definitely not worth ordering. The prices are on the higher side, and there is significant scope for improvement, particularly when it comes to food quality and consistency.
The Paneer Mandi was the highlight for me — the paneer was soft and fresh, beautifully cooked with rich flavors that were both comforting and satisfying. You can really tell that quality ingredients and care go into the preparation.
The presentation, taste, and overall experience were excellent. Highly recommended for anyone who loves flavorful Indian street food and hearty meals. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was packed with flavor, fresh, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell they really care about what they’re serving. It’s easily some of the best Indian food we’ve had in a long time.
The place is also impressively clean and well-kept, which just added to the overall comfort of the evening. Service was prompt and thoughtful — any questions or requests were handled with ease.
Hands down, the best Indian restaurant in town. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!
