Start off, unfortunately bad ordering experience and counter service. Three or 4 registers available but only 1 taking orders from a backed up line. We patiently wait our turn approximately 8-10 minutes, as we are about to be next, a girl behind the counter asks a gentleman in front of us to go to a different register to correct his order (?). The customer in front of us is waiting on his order. The new register begins taking new customers, well our party now looks like we are breaking line as we
step in front of customers behind us. I ask the girl why we’re we being ignored and she states they had to close the other register. I asked why didn’t any of the many people behind the counter inform us, she smiled and shrugged asking if we wanted to place an order or what? We turned and apologized to the line behind us and explained we had been waiting before any of them and we placed our order.
Must say all the people behind the counter including one gentleman who might have been a manager were all rather lost and lacked the customer service i received at other Swadley’s.
That all being said we were sort of surprised by the attentive service our server Mayo(?) provided. And our order of Ultimate sandwich was very good, the one meat dinner of brisket was ok, a bit greasy but again ok, spicy beans were good. The OK samer platter was pretty good but the sliced brisket and chicken were on the dry side. However the sauces applied generously helped. The sausage, rib and pulled pork was good as were sides of potatoes, Mac&cheese and okra. Unfortunately, a bit pricey, for what you see in the pictures and drinks $72.

Swadley‘s BBQ is amazing not only is it top notch as always, the service is beyond excellent! Maddi took my order with the biggest smile and happiest demeanor I’ve seen in a long time. We chatted it up about my outfit and she was so gracious. If you want great food and even better service, go to Swadley’s barbecue and ask for Maddi she is awesome!!

Update: Why would you try to inconvenience the customer further who had a bad experience by having them repeat their review on another website. This is why guests are not happy at Swadley’s anymore.
Waited 10 minutes at store after pickup time. Manager was not expediting anything. He was leaning on counter with his back to the entryway/guests, joking/flirting with staff while guests were waiting to order or pickup food. Not once did he check on me or my order waiting for 10 minutes. Staff was unprofessional and cold. They were busy which is understandable, but they were all just joking with the manager while people were waiting to order or get their food. Really gone downhill! Top it off, manager was mimicking Simpson’s TV show voices when telling guests “Thank you, come again,” and I get smaller portion of food with 3 pieces of chicken and a few mainly fatty pieces of pulled pork.

Was disappointed with my family’s experience today. My sister spent 80$ on 3 (2 meat dinners)
We got moist brisket which we understood would be an up charge.
We got also an extra side of okra that was missed , the lead on duty did offered us to come back and get the side of okra and do a credit for the okra but it’s just not worth it. The amount of meat looked even skimpier in the other boxes was 83$.
We will not be back. The customer service wasnt bad but the food price for the amount was inexcusable.

I am very disappointed with my last 3 experiences with the Quail Springs location after having a great experience for breakfast at the Del City location. 1st time my ribs were super fatty and I wasted my meal. 2nd time the breakfast meat wasn’t ready so I had to get something I didn’t care for. 3rd time the credit card machine is down during breakfast which was my purpose for coming back AGAIN. I think I’ll just take a break for awhile.

Excellent BBQ. The helping a generous and everything has an excellent flavor. When visiting OK we always make it a point to eat here.
We have tried all their locations and have never been disappointed.
They even have a pickle bar and soft serve ice cream. And their chocolate cake taste like Texas sheet cake!

Normally they’re okay, but tonight was a joke. We ordered our normal 5 chicken tenders meal with two sides, we also ordered a side of chicken tenders too. We asked for ranch for our sauce. Here’s the issue, the meal they didn’t give a roll, only 4 tenders and they were half the size they normally are and same with the side of tenders. The okra was burned and we didn’t even get all the ranch we asked for, only 2 out of 6. Please do better, because I love this place and the last few times have been very bad experiences.

Ate here for the first time on a recommendation of a local…food was pretty good. It wasn’t like, out of this world good, but it was more than acceptable. We were able to split a meal, like a judges platter, with a little bit of everything and it was more than enough for my wife and I. It was good…the mac and cheese was not great, had ZERO seasoning….no salt, no pepper, but all the meats were great. Service was pretty good, server seemed really busy for 8pm, with about 75% of the tables empty but he managed to get it done. Ribs were above average and left me wanting more, pulled pork was below average, but the 3 sauces made it acceptable. Potato salad was pretty good. The format was a little weird, but no biggie..
Format…order, sit down, someone brings you drinks, when they get around to it, and ask you want pickles…then they bring you a solo cup of hamburger pickles …food came out fairly quick tho. Give it a try

Couldn’t wait to try this place. Honestly the BBQ was OK. Pretty standard stuff to be honest. The BIG problem for me was the price!! I paid $18.99 for a Burnt Ends sandwich and salad as my side. I got 4 small pieces of meat on a bun. And a small salad. My wife got a Baked Potatoe with chopped brisket, it was $12.99 I think? Well over $35 with sodas plus I left a $13 tip. .. Wasn’t worth it in my opinion. But that’s just me.

First time at Swadley’s and it will definitely not be the last. The quality of the food was only surpassed by the friendliness of the manager, the young lady who took our order and Evan our server. Evan was amazing, super accommodating and couldn’t be nicer. He introduced us to all the sauces, the pickles and desserts. He checked on us multiple times while we ate.
Now to the food… Our group of 3 tasted most of the meats. Clear winners Burnt Ends, sliced fatty brisket, smoked chicken and the burger. Salad Bar was great and a bit of nostalgia. Don’t miss it out and we can’t wait for the Tulsa location!
