ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PIZZA!!! An iconic place in Grand Marais and we needed to finally go try it out. We got a chicken bacon ranch and every bite was delicious. We took it to go and ate it at a picnic bench by the water. It was very hot inside of the restraint, but they had a good dining area and bathrooms. You can do a special pizza or create your own. Sizes are 7, 12, and 14 inch options.

Due to short-staffing, phone orders were not accepted. There was a fairly long line to order the pizza, and a 40-minute wait followed after ordering. We ordered the thick crust with pepperoni, onion, and mushrooms. It was delicious. It was hot, and the ingredients were fresh. The cheese was really outstanding. Overall, the wait was worth it.

Wouldn’t order the bread and marinara sauce again as it wasn’t as good and not needed with 5 x pizzas. (Over a $130 USD spent) You buss your own tables as they have limited staff.

They are busy and warn you about short staffing issues and wait times on the door
before you walk in. They also have modified times due to these staffing issues.
Their pizza is what you would expect from a busy restaurant that sees consistent business. It’s good, but nothing spectacular. You’re not going to think it’s the best thing ever but you won’t be disappointed. You’ll be stuffed and you’ll leave full.

The food was sub-par, even for an up north, small town. Pizza was bland and tasted like a frozen pizza. Garlic cheese bread was the star and that was just alright.

Absolutely LOVED this place! Pizza is excellent!!! Best pizza I’ve ever eaten in MN!! I got a medium 12” original crust UFFDAH ZAH which was plenty for a full meal and two days’ worth of snacks, including lunch on the MN Highpoint Eagle mountain the next day!
