If you love chocolate this is the place to be. Suzin has been around for over 30 years. Located in downtown Elyria. As you enter the aroma hits you right in the face . They have a great variety and nice boxed candy for any occasion. Suzin is known for their chocolate covered strawberry that will steal tour wife, girlfriend or moms’ heart. this one goes down in the “it’s a rough job but someone has to do it” category. I wanted to give Suzin L. Chocolatier a shout out. ( although I am cheating on my friends at Fear’s Chocolates) To adequately convey how good things are here, I had to try LOTS of items.
My favorites were the milk chocolate-covered whole cashews. So large and so smooth. My son’s favorites are the milk chocolate-covered cherries / cherry cordials. We also got the Milk Chocolate-covered Strawberries, Milk Chocolate Pretzel Bars, Salted Caramels and Milk Chocolate Non-Pariels. It was a milk-chocolate fest!! they have two locations – one in Elyria and one in Amherst.

OMG! For Valentine’s Day my husband got me chocolate covered grapes, strawberries and pretzels. All my favorites but the grapes are by far the best I have ever had, even Mallys don’t hold a candle to them. Like they scoured the world for the best grapes and strawberries and dipped them in the finest milk chocolate. I’m a bit picky about my sweets as I’m a baker, but these hands down have been the best I ever had. They were very fresh, and didn’t have juice weeping between the fruit and chocolate. The effect was like each one being dipped before my eyes and fed directly to me. My husband paired them with a smoked 1792 Bourbon, the combination curled my toes in bliss. I highly recommend these sweets for your sweet or when you just want to make someone’s day truly happy and stand out

The atmosphere is amazing. They put their heart into this craft. The chocolate is gorgeous, it’s neat, it’s artistic and elegant. I can’t wait to run out of this chocolate so I can come back. The prices are super affordable. It’s real food. It feels good eating it. I’m a fan for life. Elyria hasn’t been very kind to me but this business is a silver lining to the city.

Prices seem high until you taste the products! The highest quality and best tasting chocolates. Spotlessly clean and very helpful staff. Only negative for me was the chocolate bridge mix, seemed to only contain raisins, peanuts and malted milk balls which were all delicious but I thought that bridge mix had a few other ingredients.
