The pancakes were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. My friend got the Cinnabon pancakes, which were absolutely to die for, and I had the Hungry Man’s Platter, which had a little bit of everything. The fresh strawberries and whipped cream on the pancakes were life-changing, and I love that they have fresh fruit with whipped cream options as well—it really brings a lot of flavor.
The hashbrowns were also excellent. They had the perfect balance of crispy and soft, and were packed with flavor!!!
The only downside for me was the eggs. I ordered scrambled eggs with American cheese, but it seemed like they just put a small piece of cheese on top rather than mixing it in, so it didn’t have that fluffy, cheesy texture I was hoping for.
Overall, I’ll definitely be back to try their lunch menu, as well as more items from their breakfast menu. Highly recommend.
We were asked to seat ourselves and waited a short time before being offered coffee or tea. I ordered the Hungry Man’s Breakfast, which includes two eggs, meat, a choice of hash browns, pan fries, or tater tots (I chose the tater tots), and a pancake. The portions were very generous — almost too much. It would be nice to see a smaller breakfast combo option on the menu for those who prefer something lighter. Perhaps a Hungry Woman’s Breakfast.
The pancake was a bit dry and not something I would order again, but the rest of the meal was delicious.
The restroom and visible kitchen area were both immaculate, which really stood out. I would definitely return — I would simply order less food and skip the pancake next time.
We tried the breakfast nuggets with the sausage gravy. Then I ordered the hash Benedict and my son ordered the cinnamon bun pancakes. Everything was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Free refills. Cinnamon toast excellent, home fries ok. Prices reasonable.
Everytime we’ve sat in her section, she’s always been snappy. She doesn’t allow my husband to articulate his order, which is very saddening. By the time my husband is ready to select his side, she’s already asking about something else, or turning away. It’s happened enough times that I’ve felt inclined to write about it.
When I was in the midst of paying, she took it upon herself to talk me through it, as if I wasn’t a 27 year old women, and had no idea how to use tap to pay. She told me once (keep in mind, once), that the kiosk to pay was on the side of the register. When I did not immediately rush to it, she gave me a very nasty look. I understand it’s a very busy establishment, but at the very least I did not deserve such an expression. She then told me I had to sign the receipt, which—I’m old enough to know that, one would think. But her attitude made it seem like I didn’t have the mental aptitude to follow through with such a “daunting” task.
I’m not asking for her to smile. I’m not asking for a cheerful hello, or something fake. I used to work as a server—I know how it is. But I do expect a modicum of respect and patience.
Will I return? Maybe. Will I be sitting in her section? Absolutely not.
