Beautiful resturant with amazing food. Never had uzbeki food until I found this place. Its amazing! I’ve taken a friend here and my family here before. The interior is beautifully designed. The staff is welcome and friendly, they gave many good recommendations for food as I had no prior experience. For app, the bread, samsa, and salad are all great. The bread comes out warm and fluffy with a crispy exterior. The samsa is nice and flakey stuffed with meat, the sauce that comes with it is the key! I cant remember the salad name but it had veal, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, lettuce, arugula, horseshoe string potatoes and mayo. Interesting combination but delicious. For entrees, the kebabs are insane. They are well seasoned and juicy. Not tough at all. The plov is also amazing. Soft fluffy rice seasoned perfectly and topped with beef that literally melts in your mouth. The only thing that was mid was the chicken with mushroom sauce over mashed potatoes. It wasnt bad. But just tasted like what it is and didnt have a wow like the other dishes.

Pros: food was delicious. All kinds of grilled meats and salads, nicely cooked. Interesting flavors. The menu had good explanations of the house specialties, with pictures. That’s always nice when eating unfamiliar cuisine. Also, the restaurant was very crowded but the noise level was not a problem. The ceiling and walls are covered with fabric which helps a lot.
Cons: It’s possible that our experience reflects an unusually chaotic evening. Service was slow and inattentive. Dishes appeared in random order, entrees mixed with appetizers, with a 45 minute spread between the first entree and the last one. It appeared that something was happening in the kitchen.
As I said, it’s hard to know whether any of this was typical or we just hit a bad day. But at least the food was good, and I could hear what my friends were saying.

Often times while traveling, my wife and I always make an effort to grab
different types of food that we don’t have in our area. Imagine our surprise, that while
in town for business, and with time to kill before an art exhibition, we discovered an Uzbeki restaurant.
Immediately upon entering, we were greeted and led to a large comfortable booth in the back of the restaurant. The lighting was
warm, the walls were adorned with beautiful rugs, and the customers’ spirits were high. Each table had been pre-set with the resutarant’s
lovely plates and crystal drinkware.
Given that this was our first time at an Uzbeki eatery, we asked our server for some suggestions. Upon doing so, she then asked us if we prefer
meat or fish. After perusing the menu a bit more and taking her suggestions into consideration, we had decided to order a wide array of sorts, opting for
the pickled herring and potato appetizer, some Tandoori Samsas, a bowl of the Kharcho soup, and an order of the Guyru Dumplings.
Our dishes were brought out promptly and our server made sure to check on us periodically throughout our meal, at one point even offering to allow the kitchen to split some of our dishes up for us to make
it easier to share with one another. The pallet of flavors we were presented with was colored and wonderful; the pickled hairing playing a perfect duet with the hearty roasted potatoes, pairing well balanced acidity and perfectly crisp potatoey goodness, the kharcho simultaneously lightly spicy and fully refershing with that dill coming throough alongside juiicy chunks of lamb, and the the delectable dumplings, swimming in a flavorful bath of broth and sour cream.
As we neared fullness, we realized we had forgotten to add one more piece to this meal…the dessert! After this realization, we decided to share a piece of wonderfully sticky Phaklava, adorned with and generously filled with walnuts and golden raisans.
Suzani Restaurant is not to be missed. It is a dining experience that makes me feel like you’ve been invited into someone’s home, but also that you are sitting down for a royal banquet.
Be sure to check it out if you ever find yourself in the area. 5/5 stars

I went to this Uzbek restaurant last weekend and honestly it was really great. The plov was super flavorful and kinda comforting, the rice and meat just mixed so nice together, and the samsa was hot and crispy but not too greasy which I liked. The place itself felt cozy and comfortable. Staff was friendly and had good reccs. Overall I’d definitely go back again because the food just felt real and homemade.

The restaurant is extremely overpriced for the food they served. They served us microwawed plov with overcooked meat. And they pretended like it is okay. For 2 plates plov they charge $36 and does not bother to serve them fresh. Defienetly not recommending. If you wanna eat smth delicious go somewhere else. They rip off people.

Started with the Samsa, the filling was tasty, and the pastry was perfectly done. Highly recommend dipping it in the red sauce provided. Next was the tomato and avocado salad. Everything in it was crisp and fresh and not overdressed. It is also a generous size that is more than enough for two people. For the main course, my mom enjoyed the salmon kabob while I devoured the lamb and potatoes. The potato skin was well done while the inside remained tender. The lamb was just perfect. Finished a tiramisu that was done just right to satisfy my sweet tooth. All the food was awesome, and the staff was friendly and provided great service. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to dine at Suzani again.

To be honest I’ve only been here a few times and every time it’s been with a big group of people. And the way the restaurant served us was a little odd. Pretty much how it worked was everybody shared everything. The food was good I would give it about a 6.9 out of 10 but it kinda took long for the food
