From what the other patrons told me the value is the quality of the food. Seems like a lot of prep work so that off sets the cost. Lots of take out orders. Be prepared to wait a little. Pretty decent experience.

The food is excellent and very flavorful. The scotch eggs are only on weekends but they were worth it. The place can get busy but it’s because a lot of people know where to get good Nigerian food at. I recommend their samosas, there’s a pop of sweetness in the meat when you bite into it because there’s corn in it. The zubo slushy is the best drink.

Very poor service and extremely frustrating experience. On three separate occasions my son ordered shawarma from Suya On The Spot through DoorDash. Each time the order was confirmed and paid for, and each time it was cancelled after we had already driven a long distance to pick it up.
The first time, we drove nearly 57 minutes only for the order to be cancelled when we arrived in the parking lot.
The second time, we arrived around 7 PM and were told the food was not ready and they could not prepare the order, even though it had already been placed and paid for online more than 40 minutes before.
Today it happened again. After driving about 50 minutes for an order that had been placed about 40 minutes earlier, the order was cancelled yet again.
Three long trips, wasted time, wasted gas, and no accountability. If you are ordering from far away, be cautious. Based on our experience, the online ordering system cannot be relied upon.

Nobody greeted me when I came in, and it took a while for the cashier to acknowledge me and take my order.
I came in around 6:30 pm and wanted to order suya drumsticks, but they had only two left. When I requested to buy them, I was told they weren’t for sale. This place closes at 9 pm, so I was curious why they couldn’t make more chicken and why I couldn’t purchase the last two drumsticks.

My dad usually buys us beef suya and drumsticks from this place, and I’ve liked the food when I’ve tried it, so I wanted to get more for myself.
I ordered beef suya on this visit—it was alright. I’ve always thought the meat was a lil tough and chewy, but it was more noticeable this time but still tolerable.
Online Presence:
This brand needs to work on their website as it’s not completely built despite being live. It’s not a good look—it appears unprofessional and makes it seem like the business is a scam.
Closing Remarks:
Despite the poor customer service and unimpressive food, I do see myself stopping by again, but mainly to use my $5 off coupon—I don’t think I’ll be coming back after that.

This used to be my favorite place to get Suya but the quality and service has severely declined even though the prices have increased. Today we placed an order for 2 beef Suya and asked to see the food before purchasing to ensure freshness. They refused. We paid for the order and sure enough the Suya was not hot or fresh. We will not be returning.

Nice spot they have our local games to play while you wait and the service was quick.
You can see them making the Suya on the open grill and they have a lot of variety of snacks to pick from that’s ready to go: fried turkey, mini puff puff, spring rolls, meat pie, chicken skewers etc. There was also a lady in there making Shawarma
I got the beef Suya it says $10 on the menu online but I paid $16 that information needs to updated.

In my opinion I think they could offer more for that price ♀️the seasoning was GREAT but the meat was TOO TOUGH it needs to be softer for easy digestion, wasn’t too spicy which was good; they added extra Suya seasoning to my to go order and the Suya was also garnished with cabbage, onions, tomatoes and cucumber.
Overall the seasoning was Great but the meat needs to be tender. Great service, people and environment also in the evening it’s suitable for hanging out not suitable for date night.
I will be back to try their other food items.

Food was great however ima get chicken next time I’m not gonna lie the beef was not the most tender choice for me but still very tasty with the raw veggies I never ate raw cabbage before and the onions was fresh as well as the cucumber and cherry tomatoes.Tip please request veggies when you come. They fixed the food in front of you which is a plus they wear gloves and seem supper clean. They actually provided booths it was supper nice with African music videos.

Quality is zero. Smells like chemical or artificial coloring was added to the turkey and suya. Taste is extremely bland with ajinomoto. I have shopped here a couple of times in the past and never left a review. Today’s, was really bad. Scared to eat.

I never thought I would be writing a negative review for this place but after what just happened, I will not be coming back to this place as there are over better and cheaper suya places near me.
The situation is brought on by the fact that I was attempting to order with a promo door dash gave me for ordering from this particular place for a while now, and as I attempted to use it to essentially order for nearly less than I normally would’ve paid my order was cancelled. As I called to inquire why, I was told it’s because I was using a promo code which made me spend next to nothing for 1 shawarma. So i thought to try again and add a plate of suya which brought my total up to $20, not bad I thought as I would be saving money but they would also be getting money. Apparently they didn’t agree as my order was then cancelled again and I am still awaiting my refund from them.
The point of my review is to warn other people of the insane action just because I was using a promo code rewarded to me by door dash for supporting this business by spending a lot on them just for them to turn around and halt me from even being able to use it. Be careful where you spend your money.
