Finally tried Suvai last weekend and we were pretty impressed. We were a big group of 12 (three families), so we got to sample a bunch of dishes, and everyone left happy by the end of the meal.

For apps, we had the whole fish tandoori and the wrapped fish from their weekend specials, plus the Chicken 909, Rayalaseema Kodi Veppudu, Maharaja Prawns, and Emerald Chicken Skewers from their regular menu. The fish starters were excellent. The wrapped fish in particular was one of the highlights for us. They were soft, tender fillets coated in a flavorful masala and steamed in a banana leaf. The Chicken Veppudu was a hit with the adults, and the Chicken 909 was popular with the kids. The emerald chicken skewers were tasty but a bit chunky and dry for our liking.

For mains, we ordered a variety of curries with naans and set dosa. The kids shared Butter Chicken Dosa, and they loved it! We also tried the Goat Dindigul Biryani, but that one didn’t land for us. The meat was tough and the rice hadn’t really absorbed the goat flavor. The Suvai Mutton Kuzhambu, Andhra chicken curry, and Chettinad chicken curry were all delicious, but the goat curry was the standout. Unlike the biryani, the flavor of the meat had seeped into the gravy, it had a rich, deep taste, and the spice levels were just right. The set dosa worked really well to soak up the curries, which is one of my preferred ways to enjoy South Indian meat curries.

Overall, it was a lovely meal. The owner, Raja, was very open to feedback and genuinely interested in hearing about our experience, which was great to see. Our server, Gopi, took good care of us and made some solid recommendations. Service was prompt, warm, and friendly. The ambiance was nice too. Lots of open space, well lit, and thoughtfully decorated.

It is a newer place, so I am excited to see how they evolve. Definitely recommend giving it a try. I will be back in the new year!

This eatery greets you with a bold orange-and-red color palette. The service is great — the staff checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. The silky chicken tikka was juicy, tasty, and came in generously sized pieces. The mango lassi was served in cute bottles , making it super convenient to carry if you are on the go. We also tried the egg kottu paratha and the mutton biryani — both were delicious and packed with taste. A vibrant spot with satisfying food.

We (a group of 3 vegetarians) had dinner at Suvai on a weekday evening and had the best experience. Ambiance was pretty impressive and the cutlery was looking fancy . Loved the whole setup. Ordered a karuveppilai cauliflower appetizer, onion masala dosa, kothu parotta and kadai paneer with Chapathi. All items arrived right away and the quantity was sufficient too. Service was really good the filter coffee at the end was amazing Definitely coming back soon!! Highly recommended!

It was our 1st visit to Suvai, and I was very happy we did! We came in on a Tuesday evening for dinner and the service was amazing. The waiter was very attentive and he was there to answer any questions we had. We ordered Chicken Tikka Misal, Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Saffron Rice, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. Every dish was very delicious. The atmosphere was nice. The prices were good. We loved the food and we will definitely be back.

Our party ordered, what I’d consider, more common/popular dishes. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, Saffron Rice, and Mango Lassi. We also got Samosas (not on the menu). We were a party of 3, so we had enough leftover for a second dinner. It was not very busy when we arrived (6:15pm Wednesday). Tables started filling as out meal progressed. Everything was delicious! Service was great! They were happy to explain menu items we were not familiar with. I can’t wait to try some less familiar menu items. Maybe the all-you-can eat lunch menu would be a good time to sample new things.

We’ve eaten here multiple times for dinner and their lunch buffet. I really like the food here. At their lunch buffet today I especially liked the curry leaf chicken curry, chicken dum biryani, onion pakora, cabbage, and dal fry. They also had paneer, butter chicken, chicken tikka, goat curry , veggie biryani. The previous time we came they had mutton biryani, egg kothu parotta, and mini samosas in the buffet. I also really love the garlic naan which comes with the buffet. There put a lot of garlic which I like. You can pick from garlic naan, butter naan, and/or dosa.
When we came here for dinner I ordered the Pallipayam chicken which was really good.

11/18/2025: We went for weekday buffet. Though the buffet was very small, the food was excellent. I did not try any of the vegetarian items except for samosa and pepper baby corn, which were very good. Suvai lamb curry was excellent. The same goes to their lamb biryani. The lamb biryani had the taste of homemade. We get either garlic Naan, or butter naan or dosa or masala dosa with the buffet. We went for garlic Naan and masala dosa which were good. Their Malai chicken was excellent. There was only one dessert, which was gulb jamun. Their rasam had very authentic south Indian tatse. My friend also said that sambar was good too. Their chilli chicken was also good. The service is excellent. The meat is very fresh. Rayalaseema Kodi vepudu is not from Rayalaseema. But the taste was ok. Mutton soup was good. Kondapura Kebab flavors were excellent. I felt Utappam had more Maida than the batter. Garlic Naan was excellent. Butter naan was also good. Their rose milk is the best and a must try. Overall the experience was good. Kids menu is also available. High chairs are provided based on the request.

This is a new restaurant on Saratoga Ave beside the Chipotle at Westgate mall. My wife and I grew up in Europe and we have been eating Indian food for over 30 years.
The food here is excellent and no shortcuts made in food prep.

We had this vegetarian STREET noodle dish and we hadn’t seen noodles on an Indian menu before. It was delightfully refreshing.

So we tried the old reliable dish of Butter Chicken and immediately my wife commented on the beautifully cooked chicken breast pieces.

The flavors of the butter sauce was rich and had ALOT of depth.

Steamed rice was perfect and the butter chicken with rice AND noodles was a super nice new taste experience.

We also had a sauted cauliflower dish with green chili as a starter and it too was full of flavors. (I forget the name- see photo).

ALL the staff were very very pleasant and the ambiance was calming and lovely. Tastefully or subtly decorated, and not over the top.

My wife is a foodie, I am a bit of a foodie too but she cooks a lot and is very discerning but a fair judge of quality and flavors.

This place passed her test/standards and at the dinner she was already texting people recommending it.

I hope the owners do well here. Saratoga needs a his place.

We’ll be back.

We heard about Suvai from a friend, and boy, it is a great find.
Usually, with South Indian food, you have to stick to vegetarian cuisine, not here.
They have a great selection of traditional South Indian dishes, paired with non-veg options.
We had a dosa, noodles, and idli.
All good.
The food was on the milder side, and we had to ask for chili ️ sauce.
Service was great. It was as if the whole crew was trying to help you.

We walked in and were immediately seated. The manager was there and very helpful at offering suggestions and answering questions. The food was delicious, the portions generous and the prices affordable.
My kids loved the Chicken 909 and the butter chicken. The parota was very delicious and my kids almost came to blows to finish it. The butter naan was fluffy and light. The mango herra (lassi) was delicious. We tried a lot of new to us foods and enjoyed the experience.
Because they are just opening they have a discount until 9/21 on prices.
