One of my favorite places to get tacos or pozole. They are kind, cook amazing food, and are always nice to my dog. I love to do take out as well when I have to work (I added the avocado). Leave a good tip please, they work hard to serve the community great Mexican food! ❤️

Absolutely amazing tacos! I don’t know what she puts in her seasoning, but it is a true delight on your tongue. Service was very quick, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I highly suggest trying the tacos here!

Wonderful little taco joint. They have a TON of options, but rest assured, whatever you choose you will get a lot of it. They were not stingy with the portions. The tacos I had were absolutely delicious. Overall the restaurant is clean and has a good bit of seating for being a smaller place. They do military and veteran discounts and also have a pay it forward program where you can buy a meal for someone less fortunate who may come in. If you’re in the area you should definitely consider stopping by for some delicious food.

I wasn’t sure about a $4 taco, but it is well worth it. The Pelican Bay community could take a few pointers on a prison town and what it offers as far activities for vistors and a nice downtown area. Nice historic district. Several other eateries and sites in the area that are worth a visit.

Normally come in here a few times a month. Last couple times staff was very un welcoming. However, this time was an avalanche of bad business. As I waited for my food I watched them treat a lady with a small dog out front rude ( just because she tied her dog up outside to order then go back out.) This is Sutter Street and one of the best things about Sutter Street is that people walk with their families and pets and almost everyone welcomes pets. Just thought it was gross how she was treated.
Then when I got my food it was tossed on the table by the worker. When I unwrapped it, it was completely slammed together without care. Most of it was already spilt because the tortilla was ripped all over. I was able to eat it but won’t be coming back. Between the rude staff and the unwelcoming feeling me and others were given, it’s not worth it. There’s plenty of great businesses that would appreciate business and treat its customers with respect.
The food is good but there’s definitely a difference from when the weekend staff is working. I’d suggest if you go, do it on the weekends when people that are working a respectful and take pride in what they serve.

Carnitas Chili Verde burrito is my go to here. Decently spicy. The green salsa (in the bottles) is usually darn good. Love the guacamole here. Since Im one of those that finds Cilantro tastes like strong dishwasher soap I’m ecstatic they don’t put it in their guacamole (order without the pico if you share the same genetic trait as it has lots of Cilantro).

The building was clean and the staff was friendly. The outside seating areas are really lovely. For the money I spent I expected more. The quesadilla was flat and not as full as I had hoped and the tortilla was crunchy to the point of being almost too hard. The end pieces weren’t filled with cheese or the meat of my choice. The sour cream and guacamole containers were $5 and had too much for my one little quesadilla, so I’ll take it home and use them for something else. They didn’t have any horchata which was disappointing. I spent $19 for one person, and regret not just going home to make myself a quesadilla instead.

Im standing outside the restaurant right now typing this up on Wednesday July 22 at 1:45 PM…
Terrible customer service, I came in and the dude behind the counter was washing cilantro…I stood there for Literally 10 minutes and wasn’t acknowleged, very frustrating. I stepped out to get my daughter from the theater and decided to give them another chance as I walked back by, the same guy was sitting there washing cilantro, this time he acknowledged me and said “ill be right with you”, I then stood there for an additional 10 minutes while he took the cilantro out of the sink and sat and chopped it up…im not joking 10 minutes of chopping, you cant take two seconds to serve a customer, not even another word to me…I was the only customer in the restaurant btw
I will never return to this restaurant, and ill be telling everyone I know not to go here… the worker behind the counter is an absolute clueless joke, and there’s sooooo many options for Mexican food in folsom (honestly almost too many) that theres 0 reason to eat here, go to la fiesta instead
