Met up with friends who recommended this Thai restaurant located opposite from the large 24/7 Asia Food Mart (a humongous Disneyland experience of Asian grocery/hot food items).

Parking can be difficult due to the popularity of this Food Mart and the slew of restaurants within the same area.

Beautifully decorated with a contemporary flair, combo of booths and separate tables.

Impressive menu with many authentic Thai dishes listed, at first I thought no way, they can’t pull this off but gladly they proved me wrong

Majority of staff were Thai, gave me an opportunity to speak my very limited Thai.

Staff constantly smiling and filling your water glass during the meal. This is what customer service should aspire to

Unbelievable as I forgot to take photos before I devoured the dishes ordered, that’s how good it was.

Cabbage with fish sauce, it may sound offputting but they did it right, cabbage cooked/fried perfectly with a slight hint of fish sauce saltiness, umami and smokey aftertaste

Grilled pork jowl, grilled well, large portion, nanjim dipping sauce on point, chef/cooks know what they’re doing!!!

Panang curry w/chicken, good flavor but similar to many other restaurants I’ve visited, nothing special but curry lovers will be overjoyed.

Pad Me Mao- stir fried flat noodles with a bunch of other ingredients (check out their menu list of ingredients for this dish). Masterfully combined and cooked.

I did manage to take photos of the dessert, Pandan Thai toast, what a work of art, toasty bread chunks crispy with soft interior, Pandan normally suble but this one hits you hard which is a good thing, coconut ice cream excellent and home made, now that’s what I’m talking about, A wonderful combination highly recommended. Skip the banal cheesecake, tiramisu, brulee nonsense and YOLO this dessert!!!

Mixed feelings as now I need to start planning for another trip back to Thailand where I can experience these same dishes again for 75% less, Thailand has spoiled me rotten

Service and food is good. We didn’t make reservation and it was late in the evening. We got a table for 4 right away and our server is friendly and polite. The menu has lots of choice so we ordered a few dishes to try out. Overall, everything taste good and we find the curry is a little spicy. Dessert is amazing and portion is generous.

We had a wonderful meal at this Thai restaurant! We ordered the pad Thai with chicken, pineapple fried rice with beef, and massaman curry with braised beef — everything was delicious.

My kids especially loved the pad Thai, and we really appreciated being able to adjust the spice level. We chose mild, which was perfect for them. The pineapple fried rice served inside a fresh pineapple was my favorite — beautifully golden rice mixed with cashews and full of flavor.

The massaman curry was rich and comforting, and the braised beef was incredibly tender and sliced into easy-to-eat pieces.

Great food for both adults and kids — we’ll definitely be back!

Ordered the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), Mama Tom Yum and Hat Yay Wings. Service was very quick at 9pm. Servers are friendly. The wings were crispy and had a nice dipping sauce on the side. The Pad Kee Mao was a little too oily but still delicious. The Mama Tom Yum was big, good for two people or more. Was this the best thai food Ive ever had? No. But the food was good enough. Pretty spacious inside. The restaurant is located in a busy plaza so it may be difficult to find parking on the weekends.

There are many tables with comfy seating, and a nice atmosphere. Service was really great. They constantly refilled our waters, took our orders quickly, and food came fairly quickly. The food wasn’t too special and some of the portions were not too big. Chicken skewers weren’t very flavourful, but the peanut sauce was good. The curries could have had more flavour, and crispy pork wasn’t the best. Nice ambience and service but food was alright. There are better Thai restaurants in the area.

Susu Siam is a family and friend favourite and our new Thai restaurant staple. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing and lively; the staff members are friendly and attentive and would give you solid recommendations.

We always go for the Thai staple dishes like Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, TongYum Soup and Pork Jowl to determine the quality of the Thai food, and safe to say, the food is amazing!
The pineapple fried rice was executed perfectly, with every bite full of flavour and a mixture of texture.

I personally recommend this Thai restaurant to everyone I know and we are definitely visiting more often! Love this place!

We went to this restaurant for a late lunch on a Saturday. Parking was a bit challenging. I had to park at the other side of the plaza. There were plenty of tables available. We ordered a corn and salted egg yolk salad, crispy tom yum wontons, Miang crispy pork, pineapple fried rice with chicken and pad Thai. The food came pretty quickly after ordering. Our server explained the recommended way to eat each dish. We liked the salad as we never tried salted egg yolk in a salad before. The wonton was good. The pork was a bit dry and it was okay with the dipping sauce. The fried rice and pad Thai were pretty good. Service was very good. Water was promptly refilled. Empty plates were collected right away. We ordered the mango sticky rice at last and it was nicely presented and it was yummy.

Dan, our server, was fantastic and helped us select some authentic Thai cuisine. We ordered a crab dish, shrimp pineapple fried rice, and a delightful rice mango dessert. The food was absolutely delicious, and the tom yum soup is a must-try.

We had a wonderful dining experience on December 31, 2025. The staff on duty provided warm accommodation and excellent customer service, making us feel truly welcome. They were attentive, smiling, and kind throughout our visit. Dining at Susu Siam (Scarborough) for the very first time on a cold winter day while welcoming New Year in advance with my husband was a truly lovely and memorable experience. Although we didn’t get the staff’s names, they made our day extra special by generously offering us two complimentary glasses of their best Thai drinks. Thank you so much. Happy New Year!!!

Amazing Thai food. I ordered the Mama Tom Yum which comes in a spicy tomato based creamy soup, topped with seafood and meats. There were also delicious noodles underneath.
Served hot, and great for sharing with 2-3 people.
Our service was excellent and server was quite attentive!
