Stopped in for the first time today. I dont live in Sikeston & when I do come to town it’s typically on a Saturday & they’re not open unfortunately! I tried the chicken & dumplings & the pecan pie bar. They were so good!! The service was excellent. Oh the rolls & their butter was really good as well. Cute little place!

A very small bakery and sandwich shop with great home-cooked food. Limited menu with about 10 daily specials. I had a grilled chicken spinach strawberry salad with strawberry poppy seed dressing that was great. It also came with a cloverleaf roll that was fresh out of the oven and was to die for. Since it is a bakery too, I had to have a piece of cake for dessert. I had a piece Strawberry cake that was absolutely fabulous and definitely worth the price.

I’ve had many sweets fr Susie’s Bake Shop, but had a chance to stop I’m for lunch today. I had the tuna salad on toast white bread. It was delicious. The pre dinner rolls they brought out melted in my mouth!! Our server was only server there and she did an outstanding job. Friendly, polite and checked on us. I’ll be back for many many lunches. Did I mention the cleanliness?? Susie’s is a must!!

This little place was a very nice stop for us. The food was wonderful. It is a unique little spot that obviously is very popular with the locals. It was fun just watching the staff interact with folks they have been serving a long time.

For my birthday, my friend’s mom purchased a delicious chocolate cake from Susie’s! The cake was rich and delicious. The icing was creamy but not overpowering. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality and presentation.

Susie’s is a small shop with BIG taste!!! Everything my son and I ordered was phenomenal!!! We ordered a variety of things including: the Amazing
chicken n dumplings included a homemade roll. Lambert’s rolls cannot compare to Susie’s secret homemade rolls! WOW!!! Deserts Mississippi Mud square, Chess square, beautiful iced and super soft sugar cookie, and slices of pie, peanut butter and coconut meringue wonderfully made did not disappoint! Hats off and hands down one of the Most tasty places ever visited! Will definitely come back every trip to sikeston in the future.

Third day in town on business and always on the lookout for great local restaurants I found Susie’s Bake Shop & Restaurant. I had a bad experience the day before at a “poplar” local place, a bad day and was in the mood to get away.
Was I in for a treat! The staff was friendly, the food was fantastic and great price and the selection of deserts was beyond the scope of a single visit. Alison (with one “L”) was my waitress and she took great care of me. I sat back and let the rough start to the day melt away. Just looking around was a treat. Great in store marketing and nice local as well as main stream choice of gifts.
I plan on returning for lunch the rest of the week. Looking forward to being treated again and again!
