We visited with our family and really enjoyed how convenient the location is—it’s only about a 10-minute walk from our house, which makes it an easy choice for a casual night out. We were glad we made reservations, as there were already a couple of parties waiting to be seated when we arrived, and the restaurant seemed fairly busy.
We started with edamame and shishito peppers. The shishito peppers were tasty and nicely prepared, but the edamame was a bit overcooked and missing that slight crunch you usually expect. For our main dishes, we ordered a variety of sushi rolls. Most of them were flavorful, fresh, and well presented, though a few were just okay and didn’t stand out as much as the others.
We also ordered the chicken teriyaki and yakisoba. The chicken teriyaki was very good—tender, well-cooked, and nicely glazed. The yakisoba had good texture and portion size, but it was slightly lacking in flavor and could have used a bit more seasoning or depth.
One of the highlights of our visit was the service. The servers and staff were all very attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout the meal. Drinks were refilled promptly, and everyone was helpful without being intrusive. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with solid food, great service, and a convenient location, and we would definitely consider coming back.

Amazing all around! I’ve been coming here for years and never wrote a review. I always say I’d do them a disservice if I wrote a review without a picture, but I always forget to take one once the food is out because I loose my train of thought when the delicious food is in front of me. I took one, but I apologize as it’s not the best shot. Anyway, this place is hands down my favorite sushi spot. The ambient is chill, service is good, restrooms are clean, music is chill, lighting is dim, and they always have these little nice fresh flowers on the tables. My only complaint is their Arnold Palmer, it’s drinkable, but not the greatest. What I’m most impressed about is their consistency. I have tried almost all their rolls. My favorite are the lemon blossom (fresh), geisha (fresh), hungry roll (tempura), MSC (tempura), and the mango crunch (tempura). These are my go to, and they have maintained their quality and deliciousness throughout the years. They have other food like katsu pork/ chicken, udon, sashimi, appetizers, and many other things. Definitely a place to try if you like good food. This place is about 40 miles away from where I currently live, but this place is well worth the drive.

My husband & our friends enjoy eating at Sushiya. The sushi here always tastes fresh. The ramen here is also delicious. Sushiya is a great place to go with friends to eat & drink. They have some of nicest servers. Shoutout to Julius for giving great service!

I work in San dimas and love Sushiya! Food is fresh and they literally remind me of my trip to Japan. It’s like eating fresh sushi but without the 14 hour plane ride. I love the Lemon Blossom and Santa Monica Roll. I absolutely have to have the fresh wasabi as well. It adds the extra kick to each bite . Definitely recommend to all my coworkers and friends.

We like the sashimi couples combo. The lunch Bento box is surprisingly good with fresh salad and tasty gyoza. Uni pasta was OK.
Waiter was super patient as we are deciding through items

Love this little gem at San Dimas and the young waitress has been so great. She offered to take photo for us and also gave us the Bday fried ice cream for Bday special. We ere there to celebrate my sister Bday and had a blast enjoying the food and decor very much.

I occasionally get takeout from there. Its always delicious and a generous portion. I got the lunch bento box today, with an order of California roll and a side of avocado. Its enough for three good meals ( for me, anyway). The food I saw being served while I was waiting looked delicious and the servers were scurrying around to bring it out immediately. Its a very popular place, the parking gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights because of the country western
bar next door.

Amazing sushi—fresh and flavorful! That’s the main reason I keep coming back. The quality of the fish is consistently great.
However, if you’re ordering for pickup, be sure to triple-check your order. Something is almost always missing, and special instructions are often overlooked. The food is also rarely ready at the promised time. I understand delays during peak hours, but this has happened even when it’s not busy.
There may be a new sushi chef, as this is the first time I’ve received cut rolls that were unevenly sliced, with noticeable inconsistencies in piece size. Also, warm food should not be packed together with cold sushi.
Still great sushi overall, but the execution and consistency—especially with pickup orders—definitely need improvement.
