Visited SUSHIWA this evening for the first time in 5 years since living in Abbotsford, and it was absolutely amazing! This was honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Dynamite Dinner Box, and everything was so fresh and full of flavor.
The tempura was light, crispy, and you could tell the oil was clean. Every single thing on my plate was perfect — not one complaint. The quality and freshness of the food were top-notch. This was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Can’t believe it took me this long to try it, but I’ll definitely be back soon!

My son and I stopped in during a quick trip to Abbotsford, just before heading to the airport, and we’re so glad we did. The food was delicious. I had the chicken teriyaki, which was perfectly flavoured, and I appreciated the generous serving of sautéed vegetables. My son ordered the salmon and avocado maki and was very happy with the portion size. In fact, he said it was the best sushi he’s ever had.
The staff were lovely and the service was fast, making it a perfect stop before our flight. We plan to visit again the next time we’re in Abbotsford.

Only ordered takeout from here but every time the food is really good. One of the best sushi restaurants in Abbotsford by far in my opinion. Food is cooked well and flavours are on point. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone

Unfortunately, I’m not a fan. I did an online order of the Spicy California Roll and their Crunch Roll. The rice was mushy and overcooked, and they definitely overdid it with the rice vinegar. The California Roll was just okay, but the Crunch Roll was even worse—no crunch at all. Both rolls honestly tasted like baby food. Maybe dining in will give me a better experience, but based on this, I don’t understand the 4.6-star rating because the place was completely empty.

A refreshing sushi experience. The salad ingredients are fresh and clean. The sushi cuts are thick and juicy, the tempura is crispy and leaves no greasy after taste. Sushiwa is a gem neatly tucked in a strip mall area. I went on a Saturday lunch hour which was perfect as it wasn’t clamouring with the AYCE crowd. I recommend this restaurant to those who like sushi and seek an affordable tasty meal. Keep up the good work Sushiwa
