Unsure initially but after reading reviews convince to visit and after ordering fully engulfed! I had the Red Dragon Roll, loved it! My son had the crunchy roll. And then I tried the beef bowl. Delicious. Vert flavorful. And the best part about this spot is that it’s not in the crowed Dtla area. It’s on Cesar Chavez and with plenty of street meter parking. Very manageable. I will be back.

Very hole in the wall sushi spot with a few unique items on the menu. I got their dragon roll and loved it. Their California roll was good but not my favorite. Overall, if you’re in the area and need a sushi pick-me-up, like I did, this place does the job.

The staff here are simply wonderful—super friendly and attentive. They made sure I had everything I needed while I was picking up my order, and their positive attitude made the whole experience even better.
Now, let’s talk about the sushi! It was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

I had passed by with my coworker few times and finally decided to try today. Place is small but the is worth a shot. Jesus who was taking care of our order is very helpful, friendly and explained really good the menu, in fact he was so nice when I asked him if I could change the roll from the beef plate I ordered, and he didn’t hesitate and totally did it. Portion is really good, my plate came with rice, teriyaki beef, option of salad or veggies and/ or gyoza or spring rolls. and we will definitely have to go again and try a different dish, . Today was cool and I saw there is tonkotsu ramen on the menu, which I was tempted to have, however this option was not available at the moment, but later they would be serving ramen,. While eating Jesus told me when the broth was ready he would gimme to try, and to my huge surprise he came with a nice bowl of ramen, I was speechless, never thought he would actually gimme the whole portion, what a nice guy,. Definitely have to go again and try one more ramen.

I ordered the beef teriyaki sushi bowl and these guys know what they are doing! Portions are generous and the beef is so tender with just enough teriyaki sauce – not too sweet or powerful. It’s pretty damn good!!!

$8 Teriyaki Bowls, $6 California Rolls!!! Kinda a flame boilers places with grilled meat bowls. Fish is fried filet style. You can add $ for veggies and avocado. Weekday Specials of buy 2 get 1 free deals (bowls to sushi) are even better!! Takes credit card. Small place with 1-2ppl seating for indoor and outdoor but this place is meant for to-go or catering orders. Can’t beat this price. Quality matches it so don’t come if you’re expecting more.
Bowls come with sauce with more sauce included in containers to go. If you want to sauce yourself, then tell them ahead of time. Rolls were decent. Of course not Japanese grade sushi rice but no where as bad as grocery store sushi. It’s perfect middle and amazing for it’s prices.

– Tuesday: Buy 2 teriyaki bowls/plates, get 1 free. Each (quickie) bowl is around $7.60, large is around $8.99.
– Wednesday: Buy 2 Sushi, get 1 free.
($5.99 CA roll is always a steal here!!)

Nice hole in the wall dining! Food looks great and of course the menu isn’t Mexican ! Oh say what ? Yes it’s a Teriyaki bowl restaurant so different for the community of Boyle Height! You can eat in or take home ! Change is good and so is this spot I highly recommend it Pricing is ok and service even better! Go check it out
