e had an amazing experience at Sushi Samba London. The atmosphere was incredible, the food was outstanding, and the service made the night even more special. Sameera was absolutely fantastic — she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect for us throughout the evening. Her warm personality and great recommendations really enhanced our visit. Thank you, Sameera, for making our time at Sushi Samba such a memorable one. We will definitely be back!

I took a friend, my nephew and 2 of my nieces here on a visit to the UK as an opportunity to spend time with them, enjoy some food and a birthday celebration.

The location is really wonderful on the 39th floor (enjoy the glass-walled elevator rides) of a London skyscraper and we were fortunate to be there on a beautiful early Spring evening with clear views across the city.

My guests enjoyed sake, wine and a lychee-elderflower cocktail while we all attacked some edamame. Then we enjoyed the Japanese Eggplant tempura, taquitos (lobster and tuna) before some ngiri, sashimi, steak, black cod and sushi rolls.

Desserts of Japanese crumble, banana-chocolate pie and mochi disappeared quickly.

Service was very good and attentive; a couple of drinks and one dish didn’t arrive but were brought promptly when we reminded the waiter. The ambience is good: buzzy, not loud but a good background level. We could all chat and hear one another easily. Fantastic views and an interesting arbor-like frame arches above the tables.

We all really enjoyed ourselves!

Went for valentines lunch and view was nice but definitely better in the evening. We had the special valentines cocktails but we didn’t drink as we didn’t like them! But the Polaroids they did was cute although only one was clear. Staff were super friendly and helpful with gluten free and dairy free choices and black cod was epic, sushi average and samba salad was also divine. For £165 for 2 it was overpriced for us

Good quality food and beautiful view. Only negative you have 2h and have to leave.

We arrived bit late and I felt rushed to eat my food and make sure I try dessert too as it was my first time over there.

The money you pay for the food and service should let you stay longer.

Waitresses didn’t seem very happy, probably overworked and underpaid.

Had our mum’s 60th birthday meal here and food was as always good, but the Churrasco Rio Grande was overall better last time we had it here compared to now, maybe it was the seasoning. Samba rolls are amazing though. We ordered desserts and when they arrived, one had a candle with it and given to the birthday celebrant. It wasn’t complimentary, it was included in the bill.

If you’re in London and would like some delicious sushi then do try it out here, the black cod was amazing too. It was cooked to perfection. The guacamole was so on point. I enjoyed everything. The service wasn’t fantastic, they were super busy and the staff were struggling to attend to customers.

This was our wedding anniversary dinner and we both simply loved it. Food was absolutely delicious and good looking as you can see on the photos and the team there was super friendly, I mean literally everyone was so nice and even presented us with cute anniversary plate with a delicious cake. I can recommend dishes with Eel and tuna belly. For dessert definitely the rainforest one. Michelin star level. Thank you to everyone at Sushi Samba for making our evening celebration a wonderful memory. Oh and did I mention the view? Amazing, especially in the evening. There is an impressive stairway leading to the restaurant below literally.

If you are looking purely for ambiance, SUSHISAMBA is undeniably beautiful. The interior and views are stunning and make a strong first impression.

But don’t get fooled.

The service was extremely disappointing. We felt rushed from the beginning. Plates were taken away while we were still eating, and after about an hour we were expected to leave. It felt impersonal and transactional rather than welcoming.

My niece was celebrating her birthday, and the small “happy birthday” candle was only brought when we were already on our way out. It felt like an afterthought instead of a genuine gesture. The chicken was served lukewarm, the food overall was underwhelming, and the prices are very high for the quality. Cocktails were fine, but expensive.

We did not feel welcome at all. A beautiful setting cannot compensate for poor service and a rushed experience. I would not recommend going here if you value good service and a relaxed dining experience.

Very nice restaurant with privileged views of the city, good atmosphere and correct service anyway a little intense seemed co. Hurry to lift the dishes every time we finished. The food leaves a lot to be desired the quality and freshness of the fish .. in terms of sushi in London there are many alternatives that are above. Recommended to have a cocktail enjoy the views, the terrace when the weather is good and some snack

SushiSamba is an absolute gem — a stunning restaurant perched on the 39th floor of the Heron Tower, offering panoramic views of the London skyline. The moment you step out of the lift, you’re met with a mix of luxury and calm sophistication, from the ambient lighting to the elegant decor that perfectly complements the dining experience.

The food is exceptional. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour — the sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, and the black cod was simply divine, rich, buttery, and perfectly cooked. Overall, the food was faultless, with each bite showing off the restaurant’s attention to detail and high standards.

The atmosphere was classy yet relaxed, with a smart-casual dress code that fits the vibe perfectly. It’s a great spot for a special night out, a celebration, or even just to treat yourself to something memorable.

The only letdown was the toilet facilities — just one cubicle, no hand towels, and a slight smell that could have been avoided with stronger cleaning products. For a venue of this calibre, that part could definitely be improved.

That said, SushiSamba still delivers on flavour, experience, and views. A must-visit if you’re looking for incredible food paired with one of the best views in London. ✨
